On 29 Jan 2022 Deputy Tullius responded to Brackenridge Road, Barlow Township, to a domestic complaint.  A verbal argument had turned into a physical altercation at that location. Brenda L Dailey, age 42, 633 Deems Ford Road, Walter, WV, was placed under arrest on two counts of domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 29 Jan 2022 Deputy Gainer began an investigation into a possible child endangering. 

On 31 Jan 2022 Deputy Peters began an investigation into a theft of funds.

On 31 Jan 2022 deputies responded to Sealy Ridge Road, Dunham Township, to a subject needing assistance.  After completing the investigation, it was determined that Pete A. Richards, 1420 Patten Mills Road, Cutler, OH, would be charged with domestic violence and placed under arrest.  Richards was transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 1 Feb 2022 Deputy Tornes requested a summons for animals at large to be issued for Matthew Westbrook, 960 D.A.V. Road, Fearing Township.  On 28 Jan 2022 it was reported that Westbrook’s dogs had attacked a dog in the neighborhood. 

There are currently 16 female inmates and 73 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
