On 6 Jan 2022 Deputy Tullius began an investigation into a possible theft from an elderly subject.  This case remains under investigation.

On 6 Jan 2022 Deputy Gainer completed a traffic crash report on State Route 339 at Tick Hill Road. 

On 8 Jan 2022 Deputy Wallace began an investigation into a missing juvenile. The juvenile has since been located. 

On 9 Jan 2022  Wood County 911 Center transferred a 911 call to WCSO dispatch in reference to a female on the line unable to provide any information.  Deputies checked the last known address of the caller, however that met with negative results.  The caller then spoke with dispatch, and met with officers in Marietta.  It was reported to Deputy Peters that Matthew Sandy had assaulted the caller.  Deputy Peters began the investigation and determined that Sandy would be charged with domestic violence.  Matthew Thomas Sandy, age 38, 2090 County Road 9, Reno, OH, was located and placed under arrest.  Sandy was transported to the Washington County Jail on charges of domestic violence.

There are currently 19 female inmates and 74 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
