On 31 Dec 2021 Deputy Stillson was dispatched to Independence Township, to a report stating Donald Metheney Jr. had assaulted Augustine Brunoni Jr.   Deputy Stillson conducted the investigation, speaking with individuals involved.  After completing the investigation it was determined that a summons would be requested for Augustine Brunoni Jr., age 41, 130 Greene Street, Newport, OH, on a charge of disorderly conduct, and Donald E Metheney Jr., age 49, 123 Merchant Lane, Newport, OH, on the same charge. 

On 31 Dec 2021 Lt. Gherke and Deputy Wallace were dispatched to 50 Walnut Drive, Salem Township to a report by Garth Snyder stating Billy Snyder threatened him and had a loaded gun.  After completing the investigation, deputies determined that a summons would be requested for Billy Ray Snyder, age 26, on a charge of using weapons while intoxicated.  Garth Allen Todd Snyder, age 29, was placed under and charged with domestic violence.

David Michael Burns, 41, Ashville, OH, nonsupport of dependents.

There are currently 16 female inmates and 73 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
