On 12 Dec 2021 Deputy Aultman began an investigation into a domestic violence incident. After conducting the investigation it was determined that no crime had been committed.
On 13 Dec 2021 Deputy Martin was dispatched to State Route 550, Warren Township, to a report of a burglary. The caller, Jason Shuck, advised he was watching a male break into his residence. A short time later the perimeter of the residence was checked, finding no evidence of anyone being in the area. Upon attempting to contact Shuck, Deputy Martin was advised that Shuck had not been to the residence. Deputies continued searching and made contact with Shuck after he arrived at the residence. Deputies also located a piece of foil with a black substance, a glass smoking device, and 7 plastic baggies containing residue. After completing the investigation it was determined that Jason Allen Shuck, age 35, 19330 SR 550, Marietta, OH, would be placed under arrest and charged with disrupting public service, possession of controlled substance and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Shuck was transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 13 Dec 2021 Deputy Hall began an investigation into an unruly child. This case remains under investigation.

William Corey Woods, 36, Pomeroy, OH, possession of drugs, a felony, driving under suspension, failure to stop in assured clear distance, fictitious plates, and contempt of court, all misdemeanors.
Braydon Nathaniel Hook, 21, Belpre, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
There are currently 6 female inmates and 67 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
