On 26 Oct 2021 Deputy Gainer began an investigation in Dunham Township regarding a stolen exhaust system. This case remains under investigation.
On 27 Oct 2021 Lt. Hornbeck began an investigation in Marietta Township. After completing the investigation and speaking with all parties involved a warrant was requested and issued by Marietta Municipal Court for Dustin Lee Crislip, 35, LKA: 9820 Wilsie Road, Frametown, OH, on a charge of menacing.
On 30 Oct 2021 Deputy Martin began an investigation into an unruly juvenile in Belpre Township. This case remains under investigation.
On 31 Oct 2021 Deputy Painter was dispatched to 164 Anderson Road, Fleming, OH, to a disturbance. Coy Smallwood was engaged in an argument with the victim. After completing the investigation Coy Leonard Smallwood, 29, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.
On 1 Nov 2021 Deputy Gainer, Little Hocking EMS and other WCSO deputies responded to the area of Federal Road in reference to a female laying on the side of the road. The female was located inside a vehicle and identified as Katrina Marie Booker. Numerous warrants out of Delaware County were found for the arrest of Katrina Booker. Booker was found to be in possession of a broken glass pipe. Booker, 44, 1628 Kohr Place was placed under arrest on the warrants and a summons will be requested for her on a charge of possessing drug abuse instruments.
On 2 Nov 2021 Deputy Martin began an investigation in Newport Township regarding damage to property. The victim declined prosecution.
On 2 Nov 2021 Deputy Tullius began an investigation into a stolen shepherd dog.
The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 2021 and 3 Nov 2021:
Stephen Christopher Albert, age 25, Marietta, OH, failure to register as an arson offender, a felony.
Mark Everett Swaney, age 55, Marietta, OH, aggravated burglary, a felony, and 2 counts of assault, both misdemeanor.
Joseph Steven Nester, age 29, Belpre, OH, failure to comply with order or signal of PO elude or flee, possessing criminal tools, importuning, all felonies, and nonsupport of dependents any person suspect legally obligated to support, Morgan County warrant.
There are currently 7 female inmates and 52 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
