On 21 Oct 2021 Deputy Tornes began an investigation in Dunham Township regarding a loose dog. 

On 22 Oct 2021 Deputy Stillson began an investigation regarding identity fraud.

On 22 Oct 2021 Deputy Martin responded to a report of a hit and run in the parking lot at the Washington County Career Center.

On 23 Oct 2021 Deputy Young observed a RV on fire in Newport Township.   The RV was found to be fully engulfed.  Contact was made with emergency services to respond to the scene. 

On 25 Oct 2021 Deputy Gainer requested a summons be issued for Hayden Michael Murdock, age 19, 6590 Veto Road, Belpre, OH, on a charge of possessing a fictitious driver’s license.

On 25 Oct 2021 Deputy Gainer arrested Wayne Alan Smith, age 56, 405 Second Street, New Matamoras, OH, for 2 counts of domestic violence.  Smith was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 2021:

William Michael Grubb, age 64, Marietta, OH, domestic violence, 2 counts, both misdemeanors.
