On 10 Oct 2021 Deputy Gainer responded to Calder Ridge Road in Dunham Township, to a report by Michael Durham. Durham stated his neighbor, Randy Johnson, yells at them for no reason. Johnson is reported to have used a derogatory hand gesture as Durham drove past, with Durham returning the gesture. This incident caused a verbal argument. All subjects involved were advised to cease their actions. Deputy Gainer was dispatched back to the area approximately 1 ½ hours later. The Johnsons advised that Durham had brandished a firearm and filed numerous shots. After speaking with all parties involved Deputy Gainer advised Durham and Johnson that they would be summoned into court on a charge of disorderly conduct. A summons will be requested for Randy Ray Johnson, age 60, 1603 Calder Ridge Road, Belpre, OH, and Michael A Durham, age, 36, 1564 Calder Ridge Road, Belpre, OH, for disorderly conduct.
On 11 Oct 2021 Deputy Painter began an investigation in Dunham Township regarding the theft of DVDs. This case remains under investigation.
On 11 Oct 2021 Deputy Painter began an investigation in Newport Township reference to the theft of money. This case remains under investigation.
On 11 Oct 2021 Deputy Wallace began an investigation in Wesley Township in reference to stolen equipment from a tool trailer. This case remains under investigation.

James Curtis Perrine, age 37, Newport, OH, breach of recognizance, domestic violence, 2 counts, violating a temporary protection order, criminal damaging and aggravated menacing, all misdemeanors, and theft, a felony.
Lisa Lynn Rogers, age 56, Parkersburg, WV, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.
There are currently 7 female inmates and 64 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
