On 28 Sept 2021 Deputy Crum began an investigation in Waterford Township regarding damaging of property.  This case remains under investigation.

On 29 Sept 2021 Deputy Martin began an investigation into abandoned animals.  This case remains under investigation.

On 30 Sept 2021 Sgt. Schwendeman responded to State Route 676, Warren Township, to a report of Christina Renee Garland, trespassing on property, against a court order.  After conducting the investigation Garland, age 55, was placed under arrest and charged with criminal trespassing, and processed into the Washington County Jail. 

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 29 Sept 2021:

Shawn Eugene Covey, age 44, Marietta, OH, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and aggravated menacing, all misdemeanors.

James Nemo Lee Croston, age 44, Chesterhill, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 11 female inmates and 79 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
