On 26 Aug 2021 Agents with the Major Crimes Task Force conducted an investigation resulting in the arrest of 2 Belpre residents.
Agents executed a search warrant at 1007 Ridge Street, Belpre, OH, the known residence of Clinton Dallas Hornbeck.
Agents arrived and observed Clinton Hornbeck and Kathryn Hornbeck outside the residence near a building, in a grassy area Kathryn and Clinton were both secured at that time.
The residence was secured and Clinton was advised of his rights, which he understood. Clinton stated he had a small amount of methamphetamine on his person when he was detained. Clinton further advised he had been selling small amounts of methamphetamine over the last couple of weeks.
A conducted a search of Clinton’s personal property (in the grassy area where Clinton was secured) and located 2 small baggies of methamphetamine, one baggie weighing 2.63 grams and a smaller baggie with .45 grams and the number 55 in black writing (indicating the price).
Agents searched Clinton’s bedroom where they located 54 Xanax pills, .35g of suspected heroin, digital scales with residue and baggies.
Kathryn Hornbeck was advised of her rights, which she stated she understood. Kathryn had a hypodermic syringe on her person, which she stated belonged to a friend.
As a result of the search Clinton Dallas Hornbeck, age 45, was charged with 3 counts trafficking drugs, 2 5th degree felonies and a 3rd degree felony. Clinton was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing. Clinton remains in the Washington County Jail until his initial appearance in Marietta Municipal Court on 27 Aug 2021.
Kathryn Dallas Hornbeck, age 20, 1607 Hill Street, Apt. 3, Belpre, OH, was charged with possessing drug abuse instruments, a 2nd degree misdemeanor. Kathryn remains in the Washington County Jail on a $750 bond.
