On 13 Aug 2021 Deputy Stillson began an investigation into a storage building in Beverly, OH, being tampered with and items being removed.  This case remains under investigation.

On 13 Aug 2021 Deputy Painter issued a citation to Timothy L. Warren, Nelsonville, OH, for speed, 72 mph in a 60 mph zone, Mary Haislep, Coolville, OH, 75 mph in a 60 mph zone and Emma Williams, Belpre, OH, 53 mph in a 40 mph zone. 

On 15 Aug 2021 Deputy Stillson was dispatched to 1094 Clement Avenue, Apt. C, Belpre, OH, to a report of a fight at this location.   Bobbie Walker, Samantha Bostic, and Zachary Crawford were at the location.  Walker and Crawford were actively engaged in a verbal argument until Deputy Stillson separated them.  Walker stated she was there to help her daughter, and prevent this type of incident from occurring.  While this was taking place Bostic arrived on scene to assist her son, Crawford, in moving out.  Walker stated an argument took place which turned physical when Bostic punched Walker in the mouth, and Walker punching Bostic back.  Crawford then began striking Walker in the head.   All subjects had minor injuries consistent with being in a fight.   Bobbie J Walker, age 42, 1415 Putnam Howe Drive, Belpre, OH, Samantha S Bostic, age 39, 1819 Liberty Street, Parkersburg, WV, and Zackary Ryan Crawfod, age 19, 1718 Washington Avenue, Parkersburg, WV, will all be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on a charge of disorderly conducting/fighting. 

On 12 Aug 2021 Robert Tate reported the theft of rims from a disabled vehicle on his property.  Tate knew the individual that had taken the rims to be Dustin L. Brooks, 1776 Briggs Hill Road, Belpre, OH.  Brooks was contacted and he allowed Deputy Painter to check the property.  On 16 Aug 2021 Tate contacted the deputy again stating he had proof that Brooks had his rims.  Brooks was contacted again and admitted to taking them and placing them on a vehicle.  Brooks removed the rims and returned them to Robert Tate.  The rims were valued at $600.00.  Brooks will be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on a theft charge.

Nickolaus NMN Sprouse, age 25, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony.

Jamal Raheem Best, age 35, Reynoldsburg, OH, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, corrupting another with drugs, and violate a protection order, all felonies.

Gregory Lee Shuerger, age 27, New Matamoras, OH, breach of recognizance, falsification, criminal damaging and criminal trespass all misdemeanors.

Winter Lynn Delancey, age 31, Caldwell, OH, theft and contempt of court, both misdemeanors.

Tyrone Anthony Taylor, age 56, Lowell, aggravated menacing, a felony, unlawful restraint and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors.

Gary Lee Riel, age 46, Beverly, OH, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

Shannah Maria Turpin, age 26, Marietta, OH, burglary, breaking and entering, theft, all felonies, theft and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors.

There are currently 20 female inmates and 97 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
