On 21 Jul 2021 a report was made regarding individuals yelling and screaming on  Andrews Boulevard in Belpre, Ohio.  Deputies made contact with several individual, to include Colten Pugh.  Pugh was observed stretched from the driver’s seat to the back seat with his hands around an individual’s neck.  It was reported that Pugh told the subject to “keep her mouth shut”.  Colten Wyatt Pugh, age 29, 3011 Barth Road, Belpre, OH, was arrested and charged with assault.                                 

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Jul 2021:

Dustin Bradley Whipkey, age 37, Lowell, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Amy Suzzanne Books, age 35, Marietta, OH, breach of recognizance and domestic violence, both misdemeanors.

There are currently 28 female inmates and 94 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
