On June 17, 2021, the Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force received information about Zachary Ryan Irvin having child pornography on his cellphone.  A search warrant was obtained for Irvin’s cellphone, which revealed multiple images and videos of prepubic females in nudity or wearing very little clothing while posing in sexual postures.  There were also some images that contained bestiality.   

On June 25, 2021, the Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, the Major Crimes Task Force, and the Marietta City Police Department executed a search warrant at Irvin’s residence of 409 Virginia Street, Marietta, Ohio where additional electronic devices were collected.  

Zachary Irvin was interviewed and admitted to downloading the images and videos off of the internet.

Zachary R. Irvin was arrested for F2 Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor (ORC 2907.322A1).    

The Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force is part of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost Organized Crime Investigations Commission and is comprised of representatives of the Washington, Noble, Morgan, Monroe, Athens, and Meigs County Sheriff’s Offices, the Marietta and Athens City Police Departments, the Marietta College Police Department, the Washington, Noble, Morgan, Monroe, and Athens County Prosecutor’s Offices.
