On 10 Jun 2021 Sgt. Carr began an investigation into spray paint on the Aldeco Motel.  This case is under investigation.

On 11 Jun 2021 Sgt. Johnson responded to Belpre in reference to damage to a vehicle which possibly was accidental. 

On 11 Jun 2021 Sgt. Johnson responded to 9626 State Route 555, Cutler, OH, for a reported domestic violence incident. Bobbie Byrd reported her family and household member, Elizabeth Griffin, slapped her on the left side of her face. Byrd reported Griffin pulled her hair and pushed her head up against the wall. After conducting the investigation and attempting to meet with Griffin she was located.  Elizabeth Hope Griffin, age 36,  9626 SR 555, Cutler, OH, was placed under arrest eth was later located, arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of domestic violence.

Heather lee Wagner, age 45, Marietta, OH, theft and criminal trespass, both misdemeanors.

Kathleen Sarah Waldrep, age 30, Marietta, OH, theft, breach of recognizance, criminal trespassing, possession of drugs, and obstructing official business, all misdemeanors.

James Evan Berga, age 31, Newport, OH, domestic violence, 2 counts, both misdemeanors.

Christian Scott Desmarteau, age 20, Marietta, OH, burglary, a felony,  criminal damaging, and 2 counts domestic violence, all misdemeanors.

Anthony Steve Eltringham, age 46, Waterford, OH, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 20 female inmates and 93 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
