On 25 May 2021 Deputy Peters met with Scott Schofield, Clark Drive, Marietta, OH, in reference to a lost/stolen license plate.  This case remains under investigation.

On 27 May 2021 Deputies Young and Stillson began an investigation into damaging and trespassing in the Salem Township area.  This case remains under investigation.

On 28 May 2021 Deputy Crum began an investigation into identity fraud.  This case remains under investigation.

On 28 May 2021 Deputy Peters completed a private property crash report for an incident that occurred on Masonic Park Road.  This report is closed.

On 29 May 2021 Lt. Hunter and Sgt. Johnson were dispatched to 1750 Laurel Ridge Road to a report Alvin Biehl made regarding Travis Williams.  Biehl reported that Williams showed up at his residence.  Biehl is the protected party in a protection order against Williams.  Biehl left the residence, however a verbal altercation did take place about Biehl calling law enforcement.  According to Biehl, Williams threatened him with bodily harm if he called law enforcement.  Travis Eugene Williams, age 24, 1750 Laurel Ridge Road, Lowell, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence and violation of a protection order.  Williams was also served outstanding warrants.  Williams was transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 29 May 2021 Deputy Aultman was dispatched to 150 Camelot Road, Belpre, OH, to a report of Matthew Trezza trespassing at the residence again.  Trezza was reportedly yelling and banging on the door.  Deputies have responded several times before this date regarding Trezza being at the residence.  Trezza was asked by the occupants to leave,  however he continued yelling.  Trezza left the residence and deputies located him walking on Ayers Blvd.  Matthew Jacob Trezza, age 25, was placed under arrest and charged with criminal trespassing.  Trezza was transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 29 May  2021 Deputy Painter was dispatched to 171 Mill Branch Road, Belpre, OH, to a report of Haley A. Jett making threats to kill a family member.  Jett fled the area upon deputies arriving.  A short foot pursuit ended with Jett being caught.  Jett denied striking the family member stating it was all verbal.  Haley Ashton Jett, age 29, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.  Jett was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Buddy Allen Miller, age 47, Marietta, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Charles Lloyd Augenstein, age 67, Marietta, OH, rape, a felony.

There are currently 24 female inmates and 87 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
