WCSONEWS RELEASES FOR 27 MAY 2021
On 20 May 2021 Deputy Painter was dispatched to 66 Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, OH, to a report of a male passed out at the gas pumps, inside his vehicle. The vehicle was leaving the lot as Deputy Painter arrived. The vehicle was soon stopped for a traffic violation. Deputy Painter met with Thomas Jordan who advised he did not have an operator’s license due to it being suspended. Jordan also advised he thought there was a warrant for his arrest. Confirmation was received that an active warrant was on file for Jordan. Jordan exited the vehicle, and advised he had an empty baggie on him, and did not know what was in the baggie. A small baggie of white powder was located on Jordan’s person. Also located was a clear glass pipe with white power residue in the vehicle. Jordan also did not know who the pipe belonged to. Thomas Nicholas Jordan, age 27, 4861 N. Torch Road, Coolville, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, and illumination of plate light. Jordan was transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 21 May 2021 Deputy Martin was dispatched to the Par Mar Store, Vincent, OH, to a report of theft. Items taken were cigars, lighters and a donation jar. This case remains under investigation.
On 23 May 2021 Deputy Kehl was dispatched to Newport Township due to James Perrine requesting a deputy. Perrine reported an individual acquaintance was tearing up his residence. The acquaintance was observed walking on Greene Street when Deputy Kehl arrived in the area. This individual was very distraught, advising that Perrine picked her up last night and she spent the night at the residence. A TPO is currently on file between Perrine and the individual in this investigation. Perrine had accused the subject of damaging his RV and Perrine became enraged. Perrine had grabbed the subject’s neck and was choking her, which caused her to pass out. Perrine also took the subject’s phone (which he did not have permission to do) and shortly after fled the scene. Attempts to locate Perrine were attempted, which yielded negative results. A warrant was requested and received for the arrest of James Curtis Perrine, age 37, 180 Greene Street, Newport, OH, for violating a protection order, domestic violence and theft.

Jason Dale Johns, age 37, Elizabeth, WV, trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs, both felonies.
Shannon Leeanne Pelfrey, age 46, Elizabeth, WV, trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs, both felonies.
Natasha Katherine Dunn, age 31, Bellaire, OH, possessing drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor, Belmont County.
William Joseph Saylor, age 41, Marietta, OH, breach of recognizance, involuntary manslaughter and trafficking in fentanyl, all felonies.
Nichole Katherine Touville, age 31, Pleasant City, OH, theft of a motor vehicle , a felony, and unauthorized use of a vehicle, a misdemeanor.
Walter Eugene Dobbs Jr., age 49, Zanesville, OH, escape, a felony.
Whitney Makala White, age 26, Marietta, OH, theft and driving under suspension, both misdemeanors.
Brian Lee Miller, age 56, Marietta, OH, resisting arrest, breach of recognizance, public indecency, and disorderly conduct 2 counts, all misdemeanors.
There are currently 24 female inmates and 91 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail
