WCSO NEWS RELEASES FOR 25 MAY 2021
On 13 May 2021 Deputy Kehl was dispatched to check the welfare of an individual. Deputy Kehl completed his investigation and determined that charges would be filed on Daryl E Moore, age 42, and Christine Marie Griffon, age 27, 165 Pam Road, New Matamoras, OH, for child endangering, 2 counts each.
On 13 May 2021 Deputy Martin was dispatched to 1459 Poplar Street, Belpre, OH, in reference to stolen property. Daniel Allen Rohr, age 27, had been arrested on an outstanding warrant. Officers had located several business and personal checks in Rohr’s possession. Also located were several credit cards belonging to numerous individuals and businesses, a social security card belonging to a male subject, an expired WV driver’s license, belonging to a male subject, cash, a bar code scanner, as well as a large stack of mail belonging to various individuals and businesses, along with misc. tools. Rohr admitted to taking some of these items from the Calvary Community Church, and some other items he obtained from a male subject known to him. Rohr was transported to the Washington County Jail on the outstanding warrant as well as being charged with breaking and entering, theft, and receiving stolen property.
On 17 May 2021 Deputy Kehl and Deputy Gainer responded to 11427 State Route 821, Lower Salem, OH, about a possible domestic. On 15 May 2021 the female made attempts to get away from Tyrone Hunter, who was bothering her. The female and Hunter became involved in a physical altercation at that time. After completing the investigation it was determined that Tyrone Arness Hunter, age 25, would be arrested and charged with domestic violence. Hunter was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
On 18 May 2021 Deputy H Tornes began an investigation into a failure to restrain incident in Lowell, Ohio. This case remains under investigation.
On 19 May 2021 Deputy Martin made contact with Teresita P. Dejosef, age 81, Marietta, OH. Deputy Martin had received a warrant from Pleasants County, West Virginia for the arrest of Dejosef. After confirming the identities matched Dejosef was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of being a fugitive from justice.
On 19 May 2021 Lt. Carr proceeded to the address of 630 Walnut Street, Lowell, OH. Dustin B. Whipkey was located at the residence and an active warrant was confirmed. After identifying Whipkey it was determined that a proportion order was in place, prohibiting Whipkey from being at this address. The protected parties were also present at the home at that time. Dustin Bradley Whipkey, age 36, was arrested on the outstanding warrant and was charge with violation of a protection order. Whipkey was transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 19 May 2021 Sgt. McConnell responded to the Dollar General, 10200 State Route 60, Lowell, OH, to a 911 call from the store. It was reported that a male subject was in the store causing issues throughout the day, when he was purchasing alcohol. The male was not allowed to purchase the alcohol he was wanting which upset him. The male then told the clerk that he knew how she got to work. When asked if that was a threat he told it her it was. Other WCSO Deputies had contact with a Colton R. Ishmael on previous nights and knew of problems he caused at the business. It was confirmed that he was advised not to go back to the business or he could be charged with disorderly conduct. Deputies located Ishmael at his home and he confirmed he was at the Dollar General. Ishmael, who was intoxicated, admitted they refused to sell him alcohol. Colton Robert Ishmael, age 28, 318 Main Street, Lowell, OH, was placed under arrest for menacing and disorderly conduct cease and desist. Ishmael became belligerent and was slamming his head off the divider in the Sheriff’s vehicle. Medical attention was given to Ishmael before transporting him to the Washington County Jail.

Alexis Leeanne Clatterbuck, age 21, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
Jeremy Allen Hines, age 28, Marietta, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Phillip Michael Trimble, age 38, grand theft, a felony, falsification public official, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
Austin Michael Dante Barnhart, age 23, Belpre, OH, probation violation, a felony.
Crystal Dawn Seevers, age 37, Parkersburg, WV, complicity to theft, a felony.
There are currently 25 female inmates and 90 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
