Special News 21 May 2021


On 20 May 2021 Agents with the Major Crimes Task Force conducted a search warrant at the residence of Stacy Y. Lee, 207 ½ Montgomery Street, Marietta, Ohio.

Agents secured the residence and located drugs and a large amount of drug paraphernalia inside the home. Lee stated she knew that there had been a large amount of traffic coming and going from her residence. Lee also admitted that she knew individuals inside the home were using and selling drugs.

In an upstairs bedroom, occupied by Christina Nunn and Michael Jeffers, agents located a baggie containing 1.35g of suspected heroin.

Crystal Tate, Crystal Williams, Nicholas Huft and another female were also located at the home.

Tate and Huft exited the residence and stood on the porch.  A short time later an agent located a small 1×1 baggie of methamphetamine laying in the grass behind where Tate and Huft were standing. Subjects were advised of their Miranda Rights and both Tate and Huft stated the methamphetamine did not belong to them.

During an interview, Huft stated that Tate gave him the bag of methamphetamine and then tossed it into the grass. Huft then stated that Tate had taken the methamphetamine off her person and threw it into the grass.  Tate advised she had given the methamphetamine to Huft who threw it into the grass. 

All subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail where they remained incarcerated until their appearance in Marietta Municipal Court on 21 May 2021.

Crystal Lynn Tate, age 30, 2111 Green Runs Road, St. Mary’s, WV, was charged with tampering with evidence, a felony of the 3rd degree and possession of drugs, a felony of the 5th degree.  Tate is being held on a $2500 plus PR bond.

Crystal Lynn Williams, age 32, 207 ½ Montgomery Street, Marietta, OH, was charged with possession of drugs, a 5th degree felony along with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor in the 4th degree.  Williams was also arrested on a warrant for theft and a probation violation.  Williams is being held on $8000 plus PR bond.

Nicholas Robert Huft, age 25, 2 Laurel Commons, Ravenswood, WV,  was charged with possession of drugs a felony of the 5th degree and  tampering with evidence a felony of the 3rd degree.  Huft is being held on $1500 plus PR bond.

Stacy Yvette Lee, age, 50, 207 ½ Montgomery Street, Marietta, OH, was charged with permitting drug abuse a felony of the 5th degree.  Lee was released without bond. 

Michael Keith Jeffers, age 38, 207 ½ Montgomery Street, Marietta, OH, was charged with possession of drugs, a felony of the 4th degree. Jeffers is being held on 1000 plus PR bond.

Christina Rose Nunn, age 50, 207 ½ Montgomery Street, Marietta, OH, was charged with possession of drugs, a felony of the 4th degree.  Nunn is being held without bond.
