On 29 Apr 2021 Deputy Kehl issued a citation for driving with no driver’s license to Andrew Zahl, Virginia Beach, VA.

On 2 May 2021 Lt. Hunter began an investigation into a possible theft of funds from a bank account.  This case remains under investigation.

On 4 May 2021 Deputy Johnson responded to 205 Summit Road, Marietta, OH, for a reported domestic violence incident.  Kathaleen Harper was met outside the residence and stated her niece was staying with her and she wanted her to leave her residence.  Harper admitted to pushing the niece.  The niece reported that Harper had kicked her multiple times when she was on the floor.  She also reported that her hair was pulled and she was punched in the head multiple times.  Kathaleen Patricia Harper, age 59, was placed under arrest and processed into the Washington County Jail on a charge of domestic violence.

Jackie Sue Sprouse, age 60, Belpre, OH, receiving stolen property, a felony.

John Thomas Buchanan, age 33, Washington, WV, OMVI, driving under OVI suspension and FTA, all misdemeanors.

Isaiah Thomas Rutter, age 30, Marietta, OH, driving under FRA suspension, turn and stop signals, both misdemeanors.

Rex Allan Griffin, age 56, Marietta OH, having weapons while under disability, a felony, and using weapons while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Amy Dawn Brown, age 42, Dunbar, WV, complicity to theft, complicity to possession of criminal tools and complicity to breaking and entering, all felonies.

Darchaun Miles Ewing, age 32, Akron, OH, 2 counts falsification, both misdemeanors, and possession of drugs, a felony.

There are currently 26 female inmates and 92 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
