WCSO NEWS RELEASES FOR 4 MAR 2021


On 1 Mar 2021 Lt. Hunter and Sgt. McKee were dispatched to 1750 Laurel Ridge Road, Lowell, to a report of a domestic related incident.  Alvin Biehl states his stepson, Travis E. Williams, age 24, was acting belligerent and tearing things up around the residence. Biehl stated the two were engaged in an argument over Williams tracking mud into the residence. During the argument, Williams threatened to split Biehl’s head open.  Williams was interviewed and admitted to the statement.  Williams was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.     

On 2 Mar 2021 Deputy Brown began an investigation into the Bartlett Mini Storage buildings being entered.  This case remains under investigation.

On 4 Mar 2021 in the area of Park Avenue, New Matamoras, OH, Deputy Kehl and Sgt. Carr observed Jason Lee Strickler in the area of the Dollar General Store. Deputies knew the subject and that he had a warrant out of West Virginia.  Strickler, age 42, 765 Danas Run Road, Newport, OH, confirmed his identity.  Strickler was placed under arrest for the warrant out of Pleasants County, WV, and transported to the Washington County Jail.

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail between Tuesday 2 Mar 2021 to Wednesday 3 Mar 2021:

Derek Lee Stalder, age 34, Lancaster, OH,  theft, a felony, and criminal damaging, a misdemeanor.

Angela Sue Nutter, age 42, Waverly, WV,  probation violation, a felony.

Shannon Marie Ewing, age 32, Vienna, WV,  parole violation and possession of drugs, both felonies.

Kenneth Ray McIntire Jr., age 55, Marietta, OH, aggravated menacing and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors.

Aaron Douglas Schultz, age 23, Vincent, OH, rape, a felony.

Roger Wayne Knapp, age 40, Lockbourne, OH, domestic violence, menacing, both misdemeanors, and probation violation, a felony.

Tyson Chad Hill, age 39, Marietta, OH, involuntary manslaughter, a felony.

Amanda Ricole Hatcher, age 30, Ripley, WV,  possession of drugs, 2 counts, both felonies.

There  are currently 13 female inmates and 62 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
