On or about 31 Oct 2020 an investigation began in reference to the passing of counterfeit money at the Marathon Station, 15 Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, OH. Deputy Kehl reached out to the public on social media asking for any assistance in identifying the two females pictured.  Numerous tips were received identifying Abbigaile Lockhart and Ashten Wilkinson.
Video surveillance showed Lockhart enter the business and use a fake $50 bill to make a purchase.  Wilkinson also entered the store and paid for her purchase with a fake $50 bill and a second transaction using a fake $10 bill. 
Through the investigation it was determined that Daniel Mowrey was responsible for manufacturing the counterfeit currency that Lockhart and Wilkinson used.  Mowrey is also currently under indictment in Wood County, WV, for counterfeiting. 
A search of Mowrey’s residence revealed items used in the manufacturing of counterfeit currency.

Daniel Trevy Mowrey, age 43, 611 ½ Elm Street, Lot B, Belpre, OH, was arrested for counterfeiting, a 4th degree felony and drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Ashten Paige Wilkinson, age 29, no address available, was arrested and charged with counterfeiting, a 4th degree felony.
Abbigaile Elizabeth Lockhart, age 30, 502 Barclay Street, Apt. M, Belpre, OH, was arrested and charged with counterfeiting, a 4th degree felony.
