On 1 Nov 2020 Sgt. McKee began an investigation into a missing/stolen diamond ring. This case remains under investigation.
On 2 Nov 2020 Sgt. McGilton requested a summons be issued to Scott Crissman, age 57, 4240 Archers Fork Road, New Matamoras, OH, on charges of cultivation of marijuana, possession of bulk marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of Alprazolam -bulk scheduled IV controlled substance, and possession of Hydrocodone –schedule II-controlled substance.
On 23 Sep 2020 a search warrant was executed at the Crissman residence, in reference to evidence of marijuana cultivation.
Crissman had marijuana plants in buckets, planted in the ground, next to his porch. There were several other buckets, planting containers, peat moss, soil, and watering containers on the property.
Inside the residence a bag with marijuana was located in the refrigerator. Also located were 5 smoking pipes, a grow room with a grow ledger, exhaust fans, hangers, soil testers, plant sprays, insulation, and other items used in a grow operation.
Also located were additional marijuana smoking pipes, a marijuana/pill grinder, 274 Alprazolam 1mg tablets, not prescribed to him, 28.5 Hydrocodone pills, and bags and jars of marijuana. A marijuana plant was also found hanging up to dry. A total of 162.20 grams of marijuana was seized.

Jelisa Sibrehna Brown, age 23, 575 Lucas Street, Bucyrus, OH, probation violation and contempt of court, both misdemeanors.
Tyler Blake Temple, age 32, 925 Joe Skinner Road, Belpre, OH, no operator’s license and taillight violation, both misdemeanors.
Cody Montell Knotts, age 29, 360 Morris Road, Marietta, OH, expired plates, driving under suspension and contempt of court, all misdemeanors.
Anthony Duane Tilley, ag 46, 70 Hanover Road, Cutler, OH, theft, a felony.
There are currently 17 female inmates and 76 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
