Special News Release 2 Oct 2020

An investigation by Agents of the Ohio Organized Crimes Investigations Commission, Washington, Monroe, Morgan Noble Major Crimes Task Force resulted weapons and drug charges.
On 1 Oct 2020 the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team assisted Agents with the execution of a  search warrant at 1218 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras, Ohio.

William McFall was located in the kitchen sitting at the table with a set of digital scales, a snort tube, a small cup w/ residue all directly in front of him on the table.  Also located were miscellaneous controlled pills, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia including baggies on the table.  Under the table, Agents located 2 bags of methamphetamine, both weighing a combined 48.27 grams, next to a .22 caliber revolver.

Agents located Carlton Bennett, Gavin Earley, and Zackariah Earley huddled around the table with McFall. Aside from the methamphetamine located on the table, Gavin was found with 1.64 grams of methamphetamine in his pocket.

McFall was convicted in 1999 for felony possession of drugs,  placing him under disability for owning or possessing a firearm. An indictment is also pending for McFall on a charge of  having weapons under disability and receiving stolen property.   McFall was charged and arrested in March 2020 for having weapons under disability, following a search warrant.

Agent also located approximately 57.94 grams of methamphetamine in a gun safe in the home. 

William Dwight McFall Jr., age 61, 1218 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras, OH, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.  McFall was charged with 2nd degree felony trafficking in drugs, and 3rd degree felony having weapons under disability

Carlton Wayne Bennett, age 55, 101 Evans Street, Apt. A2, New Matamoras, OH, Gavin Gregory Earley, age 27, 1426 Earley Ridge Road, New Matamoras, OH, and Zackariah Harold Earley, age 31, 176 Dana Run Road, Newport, OH,  were all arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.  These three individuals were all charged with 2nd degree felony trafficking in drugs

All four individuals remains in the Washington County Jail pending their appearance in Marietta Municipal Court on 2 Oct 2020.
