On 26 Apr 2020 at approximately 0645 hours Deputy Brown responded to 1665 Glendale Road, to a domestic dispute complaint.   Jeffry R. Voycik had called dispatch stating he was in an altercation with his mother, Susan Meredith. Jeffry stated, “I’m not going to let her call the cops to make up another narrative like she did the one time.” Deputy Brown met with Meredith who advised Voycik was using a flashlight belonging to her and she took the flashlight back and returned to bed.  Voycik followed Meredith to her sleeping area and stood over top of her demanding the flashlight back. Voycik grabbed his mother and tried to move her, in which Meredith smacked him to get him away from her. Voycik gave the same accounts as his mother and stated he took her phone so she couldn’t call the Sheriff’s Office.  Jeffry Ryan Voycik, age 37, was placed under arrest for disrupting public service and domestic violence. Voycik was transported to the Washington County Jail.
