WCSO NEWS RELEASES FOR 27 APR 2020


On 24 Apr 2020 Deputy Zide responded to Watertown Township to a possible domestic dispute.  In speaking with all parties this was determined to be unfounded. 

On 25 Apr 2020 Lt. Hornbeck was advised that John Ralston was at the front door of the Sheriff’s Office advising that he had placed something in the trash can at the rear of the Sheriff’s Office.  Lt. Hornbeck met with Ralston and walked to the back where the trash cans were located.  Ralston stated the item was not meth, however upon removing the bag from the trash and testing the substance, it tested positive for methamphetamine.  John Robert Ralston, age 50, was placed under arrest for possession of drugs.  Ralston was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

On 25 Apr 2020 Deputy Painter was dispatched to the Dollar General, Orchard Street, Little Hocking, to meet with a manager.  The manager advised a female had been caught shoplifting and was identified as Shavon Reams.  Deputy Painter responded to 809 Warren Avenue to contact Reams.  Deputy Painter announced his presence while knocking, however, no one would come to the door.  A female was observed peering through the curtains and Deputy Painter was able to identify her as Shavon Reams.  Reams was advised (through the closed door) that if she did not come to the door a warrant would be requested for her arrest.  Shavon Reams opened the door, exited the residence and asked why law enforcement was there. Shavon was advised of a theft investigation being conducted and was asked to verify she was, in fact, Shavon Reams.  The female stated she was not, her name was “Monique”.  When asked for identification, as it was believed she was Shavon, she began to go back into the residence.  Deputy Painter again asked to verity her identity and she eventually stated she was Shavon, and Monique was her middle name.  When asked about the theft a Dollar General, Reams claimed to have no knowledge of the incident and denied even being there. Based on the information gathered in the investigation,  Shavon Monique Reams, age 38, 809 Warren Avenue, Belpre, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with obstructing justice and theft.  Reams was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

On 26 Apr 2020, at approximately 1330 hours Deputy Brown responded to a complaint that occurred at 316 Main Street, Lowell, OH.  Deputy Brown met with Toni Honchul who reported Christopher Honchul came home around 0800 hours and became irate about a guest in the home.  Christopher began striking Eric Siders with his fists and as Toni attempted to separate the two, she was struck by Christopher.  Toni reported Christopher obtaining a metal baseball bat and struck Siders with it 3 to 4 times.  Toni was also struck in the hand with the bat.  Christopher was not present at the time and Deputy Brown was unable to make contact.  At approximately 1800 hours Deputies were advised that Christopher was back in Lowell and was trying to fight people.  Deputies responded and contacted the above individuals at the residence.  Christopher admitted to striking the Siders subject and that he may have hit Toni as well.  Christopher Robert Honchul, age 37, was placed under arrest and charged with felonious assault and domestic violence.  Honchul was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

Denine Lynn Mullins Stewart, age 39, 4402 School House Road, Little Hocking, OH, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

John Robert Ralston, age 50, homeless, possession of drugs, a felony.

Arden Randoll Stewart, age 27, Third Street, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Bobbie Sue Davis, age 36, 19 High Street, Vincent, OH, theft, a misdemeanor.

Jeffry Ryan Voycik, age 37, 1665 Glendale Road, Marietta, OH domestic violence, a misdemeanor, disrupting public service and probation violation, both felonies.

Paul Anthony Wallace II, age 28, 115 N. Hart Street, Apt. 6, Marietta, OH, domestic violence and probation violation, both misdemeanors.

Justin Michael Fox, age 35, 2067 Burnfield Road, Vincent, OH, domestic violence (2) counts, both felonies, and probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Christopher Robert Honchul, age 37, 316 Main Street, Lowell, OH, felonious assault, a felony, and domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Shavon Monique Reams, age 38, 809 Warren Avenue, Belpre, OH, obstructing justice and theft, both misdemeanors.

John David Ragalyi, age 34, 25 Maple Street, Apt. 2, Newport, OH, probation violation.

There are currently 9 female inmates and 52 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
