WCSO NEWS RELEASES FOR 8 APR 2020


 

On 7 Apr 2020 Sgt. Johnson met on with an individual who reported an argument with Gary Beagle.  This argument occurred on 5 Apr 2020, on Francis Road in Muskingum Township.   It was reported that Beagle had damaged a phone which made it impossible for her to call for assistance.  Beagle had also made threats of harm to the victim.  This individual reported that she feared for her safety and that of her children.  Contact was then made with Beagle.  Gary Dean Beagle Jr., age 35, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence and probation violation. Beagle was transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 8 Apr 2020 Lt. Hunter was dispatched to 403 Laugherty Circle, Beverly, Ohio, to an incident of domestic violence.  Dustin Walters advised he and his girlfriend got into an argument, but stated there were no acts and/or threats of violence.  The victim reported the argument, as well as Walters threatening to hit her, with him stating, “if you were a man, I would’ve already hit you”.  Dustin Isaac Walters, age 37, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.  Walters was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Gary Dean Beagle Jr., age 35, 240 Francis Road, Marietta, OH, domestic violence and probation violation, both misdemeanors.

Brittany Coleen Eady, age 27, 27482 State Route 7, Apt. A, Marietta, OH, 2 counts probation violation, both misdemeanors.

Elmer Charles Albert Wenzel, age 29, 304 Third Street, Lowell, OH, 2 counts of disrupting public service, both felonies, and violations prohibited, a misdemeanor.

Jeffrey Dwayne Smith, age 25, 213 ½ Elm Street, Marietta, OH, breach of recognizance and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies.

Dustin Isaac Walters, age 37, 403 Laugherty Circle, Beverly, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 10 female inmates and 49 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
