On 21 Feb 2020 Deputy Brown issued a citation to Randall S. Neff Jr., 1123 Broad Avenue NW, Canton, OH, for driving on a suspended license.
On 21 Feb 2020 Sgt. McGilton responded to 207 Lancaster Street, Marietta, OH, in reference to two dogs belonging to Ruth Sherman running loose. The dogs were reported to be aggressive and growled as subjects were taking a child to school. Julie Sherman advised she was Ruth’s mother and that it was her fault they had gotten loose. Julie stated she didn’t realize the gate wasn’t secure when she let the dogs outside. A summons is being requested for Ruth Sherman, age 30, and Julie A. Sherman, age 52, for failing to restrain these dogs.
On 21 Feb 2020 Deputy Parks issued a citation to Nichole S Hughes, 817 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, OH, for driving under suspension.
On 21 Feb 2020 at approximately 2244 hours Deputy Schwendeman and Deputy Peters responded to 2803 Highland Ridge Road, Apartment A, Lowell, OH. Stephen Badamo had entered the residence without permission from the occupants. Badamo had been in a relationship with the occupant, however, now lives in another state. When the homeowner arrived at 2200 hours they heard someone enter the locked residence, then finding Badamo in the living room. After completing the investigation a warrant was requested and issued for Stephen Louis Badamo, age 46, 2295 Conway Wallrose Road, Freedom, PA, for burglary.
On 22 Feb 2020 at approximately 0438 hours Angela S. Johnson called saying she was at Eagle Fireworks, 26400 State Route 7, Marietta, OH, and needed a ride because she was kicked out of a vehicle and it was cold. Deputy Peters and Deputy Schwendeman responded and met with Johnson. Johnson was advised that she could be given a ride to her house, however, a search of her belongings would have to be completed for illegal items. Johnson stated she had illegal items on her, and pulled out a metal tin, with glass pipes, a syringe and two metal scraping devices. Based on the investigation Angela Stephanie Johnson, age 46, 100 Del Ray Court, Marietta, OH, was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 22 Feb 2020 Deputy Painter was patrolling State Route 339, Dunham Township. Deputy Painter noted a vehicle pulled off the side of the road, displaying the hazard lights. Before Deputy Painter could stop to check on the vehicle, the driver became mobile and crossed into the oncoming lane and stopped on the berm on the other side of the road, facing oncoming traffic. A traffic stop was then conducted. The driver, Kevin W. Thomas, age 38, 1505 Turkey Hollow Road, Cutler, OH, was asked why he was driving with his hazard lights on and crossing from one berm to the other. Thomas replied that he was delivering newspapers, and there was a stack of newspapers in his vehicle. The registration on the vehicle belonged to him, however, it was registered to a Chevy and not a Suzuki. Thomas reported he was in the process of switching the registration. Thomas was given a written warning, conditioned on him providing the proof of sale within three days. Thomas was advised that if he failed to do so he would be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court for fictitious plates. As of 25 Feb 2020, Thomas had not provided the required proof of sale. A summons is being requested for Kevin W. Thomas, age 38, for fictitious plates
On 22 Feb 2020 Deputy Kehl conducted a traffic stop on a blue Toyota truck at the 17MM of State Route 7, Warren Township, OH. James W. Radabaugh, the driver, was advised that his license plate lights were not working. Radabaugh was asked if there were any drugs or weapons in the vehicle that he should not have. Radabaugh advised he had a loaded handgun under his driver’s side seat, and did not have a CCW permit. Radabaugh exited the vehicle at that time. Radabaugh was asked if he had anything on his person that could be construed as illegal and he advised yes, a hypodermic syringe, which was previously used to inject methamphetamine. Deputy Kehl also located an open Four Loco alcoholic container. James W. Radabaugh, age 33, 100 Miller Avenue, Marietta, OH, was placed under arrest at that time and transported to the Washington County Jail. Deputy Hill located a suspected Suboxone strip in a pack of cigarettes while processing Radabaugh at the jail. Radabaugh had forgotten that he had those in the cigarettes. Radabaugh was charged with possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of an open intoxicating beverage, weapons under disability, and improper handling of a firearm within a motor vehicle.
On 24 Feb 2020 Deputy Kehl issued a citation to Michael Adam Norville, 710 Front Street, Apt. 6, Marietta, OH, for driving on a suspended driver’s license for failure to pay child support.

Marcus Todd McCartney, age 41, 202 Davis Avenue, Marietta, OH, violating a protection order, a misdemeanor.
Nashayia Symone Lett, age 23, 250 Fairway Avenue, Apt. 106, Chillicothe, OH, driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.
Richard Noel Yoho, age 37, 38922 State Route 26, Graysville, OH, theft, a misdemeanor.
Roy Dale Greathouse, age 57, homeless, receiving stolen property, a misdemeanor.
There are currently 17 female inmates and 81 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
