On 4 Jan 2020 Deputy H Tornes began an investigation in reference to a social media accounts being hacked.  This case remains under investigation.

On 9 Jan 2020 Lt. Hornbeck began an investigation into a credit card that had been used by someone other than the owner.  After completing the investigation a juvenile was charged with theft of the credit card.

On 9 Jan 2020 a warrant for the arrest of Kendrick Latrent McClain was received at the Washington County Jail from the State of Michigan on a charge of criminal sexual conduct.  The information McClain gave to booking upon being processed was checked with the information received in the warrant and found to be the same individual.  McClain, age 48, 310 Sixth Street, Marietta, OH, was charged with being a fugitive from justice.

On 10 Jan 2020 Deputy Allender began an investigation into 3 bad checks passed at Par Mar, State Route 821, Marietta, OH.  The total for these checks was $127.75.  This case remains under investigation.

On 10 Jan 2020 Deputy Kehl met with Mario Munoz, Vickers Road, Marietta, OH, in reference to items stolen from the property.  This case remains under investigation.

Nicole Dena Davis, age 35, 204 Dale Street, Marietta, OH, contempt of court, and loose dog, both misdemeanors.

David Joseph Gorby, age 33, 2670 Pettyville Road, Parkersburg, WV, contempt of court, a felony.

Robert Edward Carpenter, Sr., age 45, 913 ½ Front Street, Marietta, OH, criminal trespass and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors.
