Northern Meigs County in southeastern Ohio... Washington County in southeastern Ohio... Jackson County in southeastern Ohio... Athens County in southeastern Ohio... Vinton County in southeastern Ohio... * Until 1030 AM EST Tuesday. * At 411 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that one to two inches of rain has fallen over the area. Minor flooding is occurring along creeks and streams in the area. * Several secondary roads in Southeast Ohio are closed due to flooding. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Parkersburg, Athens, Marietta, Belpre, Jackson, Wellston, Nelsonville, Mcarthur, Oak Hill, Beverly, Albany, Coolville, Lake Hope State Park, Vienna, Williamstown, Belmont, Tuppers Plains, Boaz, Newport and Chauncey. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
