On 26 Oct 19 Deputy Young was on patrol and observed a vehicle near the intersection of State Route 339 and Lewis Point, commit a traffic violation. A traffic stop revealed the driver, Donald Lee McMullen, had a strong smell of an alcoholic beverage about his person, along with him slurring his speech. McMullen stated he had been drinking tonight when asked. McMullen completed standardized field sobriety tests and performed poorly on them. McMullen, age 81, 109 Holly Drive, Elizabeth, WV, was placed under arrest for OVI and transported to the Washington County Jail.
