On 11 Oct 19 Deputy Brown began an investigation in reference to possible missing firearms. This case remains under investigation.
On 11 Oct 19 Deputy Parks began an investigation into littering and trespassing in the Muskingum Township area. This case remains under investigation.
On 12 Oct 19 Deputy J McConnell responded to Newbury Road, Little Hocking, Ohio, to a report of a possible domestic dispute. Anthony Hopkins reported that he and Pamela Hopkins were arguing about him leaving. Anthony had been trying to get some belongings while they were arguing and Pamela tried to stop him. Anthony stated that was when he accidentally hit Pamela in the jaw with his elbow. Anthony went on to state that Pamela started hitting him in the face after he struck her. Pamela left the residence when Anthony called to report it to law enforcement, later returning. Pamela advised she was not sure if Anthony struck her on purpose or by accident, however they had been arguing. Pamela denied hitting Anthony in the face. A charge of disorderly conduct was filed on Anthony R. Hopkins, age 32, 1040 Old Rosemar Road, Parkersburg, WV, and Pamela Marie Hopkins, age 33, 469 Dutch Ridge Road, Parkersburg, WV, through Marietta Municipal Court.
On 12 Oct 19 Deputy Parks was dispatched to Dollar General, 10282 State Route 550, Barlow to a report of stolen merchandise from the store. Deputy Parks was advised that Jerry Corbin had entered the store shortly before 2000 hours tonight, and made a total of three trips in and out of the store. On Corbin’s second trip he purchased a two-liter of Cherry Pepsi, and then immediately after leaving the store picked up two, three packs of paper towels and proceeded to his vehicle. Corbin was approached outside by personnel and apologized for taking the items, giving them back to the clerk. A warrant is being requested for Jerry L. Corbin, age 54, 6401 Lightner Ridge Road, Stockport, OH, on a charge of theft.
On 13 Oct 19, Deputy H Tornes was advised that Inmate Brynn Martin had written down Inmate Darin Craig’s account information without his permission or knowledge. It was reported that Martin had used the information to make phone calls on October 11, 2019. Through investigation, it was discovered that Martin had in fact used the account information belonging to Craig. Brynn Keith Martin, age 40, 122 Van Zant Road, Bidwell, OH, was arrested and charged with theft.
On 14 Oct 19 Deputy Zide began an investigation in reference to tools being stolen from an ODOT construction site. This case remains under investigation.
On 14 Oct 19 Deputy White was dispatched to 171 Mill Branch Road, Belpre, to a squad run for Hayley Jett. Dispatch advised Jett was having medical issues, and she later admitted to using meth, requesting the squad bring Narcan. Deputy White met with Jett at the medical facility. Jett admitted the substance in her wallet was methamphetamine. A summons is being requested for Haley Ashton Jett, age 28, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Damian Wade Semon, age 46, 419 Rand Avenue, Columbus, OH, OVI, a misdemeanor.
Nelson Douglas Lewis, age 52, 715 Cisler Drive, Marietta, OH, probation violation, fictitious plates and contempt of court, all misdemeanors.
Leshaun Maurice Harding, age 30, 4531 Granada Boulevard, Cleveland, OH, driving under suspension, speed and no seatbelt, all misdemeanors.
Lindsey Jo Moore, age 29, 185 Hazelwood Road, Marietta, OH, failure to transfer, a misdemeanor.
There are currently 22 female inmates and 94 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
