On 25 Jul 19 Deputy Zide was patrolling when he observed a traffic violation.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and contact was made with the driver, Christopher Perot.  Perot appeared to have glassy and bloodshot eyes.  Perot was asked about the condition of his eyes, at which time he admitted to smoking marijuana prior to his travels.  Perot was asked to submit to standardized field sobriety, to which he consented, performing poorly on the field sobriety.   Christopher Cody Perot, age 30, 310 Greenlawn Road, Lowell, OH, was placed under arrest for driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to display valid license.  Perot was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

Richard Lee Elkins, age 52, 1249 Walker Street, Mansfield, OH, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, a misdemeanor.

Jeffrey Alan Theiss, age 41, 122A Linwood Avenue, Marietta, OH, permitting drug abuse, a felony, improper lane usage and driving under suspension, misdemeanors.

Anthony James Curry, age 30, 554 Curry Road, Waterford, OH, possession of methamphetamine, a felony, driving under suspension and failure to yield at a stop/yield sign, misdemeanors.

Dustin Allen Carpenter, age 27, 105 Gilman Avenue, Lot 2, Marietta, OH, possession of heroin, a felony.

Jason Lee Myers, age 34, 122 Linwood Avenue, Apt. A, Marietta, OH,  possession of heroin, a felony.

Christopher Cody Perot, age 30, 310 Greenlawn Road, Lowell, OH, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to display valid license, both misdemeanors.

Debra Brown, age 58, 915 Front Street, Marietta, OH, failure to register a dog and dog(s) running at large, both misdemeanors.

Deborah Lynn Streight, age 60, 221 S. Sixth Street, Marietta, OH, obstructing justice and interference with forfeiture, both felonies.

There are currently 20 female inmates and 109 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
