On 9 Jul 19 Lt. Hunter and Det. McPeek responded to the Waterford Township Building in reference to a break in. This case remains under investigation.
On 9 Jul 19 Sgt. McGilton responded to 151 Mill Street, Waterford, Ohio, in reference to a report of Jared Lang’s dog running loose on a regular basis. The dog was observed loose, however on Lang’s property. Lang was advised in reference to restraining his dog. A check of the dog tag program revealed that Lang had not registered the dog. A summons is being requested for Jared Matthew Lang, for failure to register a dog.
On 11 Jul 19 Deputy McKee began an investigation into a trespassing incident in Newport Township. This case remains under investigation.
On 11 Jul 19 Sgt. McGilton responded to milepost 21, State Route 676, Marietta, Ohio, in reference to a male subject walking along State Route 676 disrupting traffic. The subject reportedly jumped in front of a moving vehicle at one point. Romen Vandall was observed standing in the roadway, swinging his arms, stomping his feet, yelling, and hitting himself. Vandall moved out of the roadway and stated he wanted to report an incident. Vandall attempted to go back into the roadway several times, and continued to hit himself, pulling his hair and yelling. Vandall was asked to stay out of the roadway and to sit down several times before physically being placeed in the rear of the patrol vehicle. Romen Z. Vandall, age 36, was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct, and transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 11 Jul 19 Deputy Young along with the Reno and Williamstown Volunteer Fire Departments, responded to 101 Skyvue Circle, Marietta, OH, to a fire at that location. The fire had been extinguished prior to Deputy Young arriving. The fire was in a shed behind the residence and was a total loss.
On 12 Jul 19 Sgt. Reeder completed a private property accident report for Karen Thompson, Marietta, OH, when her brakes failed.
On 12 Jul 19 Deputy Schwendeman met with Michael Grayson, 135 Darnold Road, Cutler, OH, in reference to a burglary at that location. This case remains under investigation.
On 13 Jul 19 Deputy White responded to 600 Sheets Road, Stockport, OH, to meet with Tracy M. Hill in reference a burglary at the residence. This case remains under investigation.
On 14 Jul 19 Deputy Carre responded to Devola Street to a residential fire. Devola and Fearing Volunteer Fire Departments were on scene.

David Charles Morgan, age 58, 130 Maple Street, Newport, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
Lisa ReneeWells, age 57, 106 Clement Avenue, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Joseph I. Kirk, age 28, lka: 276 Ridgewood Court, Marietta, OH, felonious assault, a felony.
Justin Brian Hines, age 22, 106 Devol Drive, Marietta, OH, possessing of drugs, a felony, and possessing drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.
There are currently 22 female inmates and 90 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
