On 31 May 19 Alisha Bertram came to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to report receiving phone calls from a “no caller id” number.  Bertram advised that nothing was said on the first call she received so she hung up.  On the second call the caller stated his name was James and Bertram stated she could recognize the voice as Bryan Eddy, whom she has an active temporary protection order against.  Bertram received another call and the caller stated “why are you doing this to me, I just want my family”.  Bertram told the caller he was not supposed to be calling her.  Bertram was positive the voice was that of Eddy.  An active temporary protection order was verified and a warrant was requested for Bryan Lee Eddy, age 28, homeless, on a charge of violation of a temporary protection order.

On 1 Jun 19 Deputy Carr responded to Tennis Center Drive, Marietta, OH, in reference to a subject being bitten by their family dog.  This case remains under investigation.

On 1 Jun 19 Deputy Schwendeman responded to Marietta Township in reference to a domestic violence investigation.  In speaking with all parties this was determined to be unfounded.

On 1 Jun 19 Deputy Hall responded to Fearing Township in reference to a trespassing complaint.   

On 2 Jun 19 Deputy Schwendeman along with the LA, Devola and Salem Volunteer Fire Departments responded to Little Bear Creek Road in reference to a barn that was completely engulfed in flames. 

On 2 Jun 19 Deputy White responded to 620 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, OH, to meet with Francis Farnsworth in reference to a breaking and entering at that location.  This case remains under investigation.

On 2 Jun 19 Deputy Schwendeman met with Tiffany Bookman, State Route 7, Newport, OH, in reference to a report of a domestic altercation involving live-in boyfriend, Aaron Robinson.  Bookman and Robinson have lived together for several years and have a child together.  Robinson and Bookman were fishing when Robinson began a verbal argument with her.  Bookman tried to leave the area at which time Robinson punched her in the back of the head with a closed fist, twice.  Deputy Schwendeman attempted to locate Robinson, however was unsuccessful at the time.  A warrant is being requested for Aaron Ryan Robinson, age 23, 38741 State Route 7, Newport, OH, on a charge of domestic violence.

On 3 Jun 19 Deputy Brown was dispatched to Adams Township in reference to a domestic incident.  In speaking with all individuals involved in this case it was determined to be unfounded.

On 3 Jun 19 Deputy Carr issued a citation for speed to Carla Deann Lee, Germantown Road, Lower Salem, OH, for 63 mph in a 50 mph zone. 

On 3 Jun 19 Deputy Carr issued a citation for speed to Jimmy Brooks Flesher, Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, OH,  for 64 mph in a 50 mph zone. 

On 3 Jun 19 Deputy Carr issued a citation for speed to Shelby Elizabeth Burkhart, Main Street, SW, Brewster, OH, for 60 mph in a 50 mph zone. 

On 3 Jun 19 Deputy Carr issued a citation for speed to Jared D. Lowe, Church Drive, Lower Salem, OH, for going 63 mph in a 50 mph zone. 

On 3 Jun19 Deputy Zide and Lt. Hornbeck responded to 550 Ewing Road, Reno, OH, in reference to Brenda McKitrick texting her father “911”.  While Deputies were en route, dispatch made contact with Brenda who advised where she would meet Deputies.   Brenda advised Deputy Zide that she and her husband, Robert McKitrick, had been in a verbal altercation at their old home.  Brenda stated during the argument Robert got enraged and ended up kicking Brenda in the leg, leaving a swollen area and marks.  Brenda requested a temporary protection order.  Deputies went to meet with Robert, who confirmed the verbal argument, however denied kicking Brenda.   Robert Marion McKitrick, age 54, 550 Ewing Road, Reno, OH, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail. 

On 3 Jun 19 Deputy Brown was dispatched to 195 McGill Road, Vincent, Ohio, in reference to a temporary protection order violation.   Deputy Brown met with Eric Owens, Miranda Owens, and a juvenile.  Deputy Brown began reviewing the TPO and found there was an active protection order in place. This protection order was in place against Eric Owens with the protected party being Miranda Owens and the juvenile.   Both subjects were unaware that the order was still in effect.  Eric Shawn Owens, age 39, was placed under arrest for violation of a protection order and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 3 Jun 19 the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received over twenty non-emergency telephone calls from Richard Carl Flood.  Lt. Augenstein and Sgt. Holbert met with Flood at his residence and determined he was in need of a medical evaluation.  Flood was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital where he was observed and released.  A short time later dispatch received a call stating that Flood was in the lobby at MMH and was being belligerent and would not leave.  Sgt. Holbert responded to the hospital where he found Flood outside.  Sgt. Holbert asked Flood if he was yelling at medical staff and he stated that he was.  Richard Carl Flood, age 53, 204 Ferry Street, Beverly, OH, was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 3 Jun 19 Deputy Parks investigated an incident in Belpre Township which was found to be civil in nature.  Case closed.

Hannah Alexis Davis, age 19, 35 Inveress Lane, Parkersburg, WV, failure to appear and failure to comply, both felonies.

Joseph Dexter Hesson, age 21, 138 Chauteau Hills Drive, Parkersburg, WV, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Keryn Ann Miller, age 36, 1177 CR 9, Marietta, OH, trafficking in drugs, a felony.

Dwayne Edward Miller, age 54, 1177 Millers Lane, Marietta, OH, trafficking in drugs, 2 counts, both felonies.

Julie Marie Williams, age 36, 8358 Messaros Road, Glouster, OH, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, a misdemeanor.

Tamika Cherie Rake, age 31, 2105 Miller Avenue, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Kevin Michael Mills, age 26, 205 Carl Wade Road, Princeton, WV, possession of drugs, a felony, 2 counts driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving under OVI suspension, and possession of marijuana, all misdemeanors.

There are currently 36 female inmates and 93 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
