On 27 May 19 Sgt. Reeder began an investigation into a domestic incident in Marietta Township.  In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.

On 27 May 19 Lt. Hunter and Deputy Reynolds responded to State Route 339 to the Dollar General Store.  It was reported that a bag of ice had been stolen the previous day.  This case remains under investigation.

On 27 May 19 Deputy Zide met with Victoria Ziegler at 2142 McDonald Road, Vincent, OH, in reference to a PlayStation 4 being stolen from her.  This case remains under investigation.

On 27 May 19 Deputy Hall met with Christopher Currier, 555 Gantsville Road, Little Hocking, OH, in reference to subject(s) removing the license plates from his residence.   This case remains under investigation.

On 27 May 19 Deputy Brown began an investigation into a possible menacing incident in Wesley Township. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded. On 28 May 19 Deputy Hal responded to Veto Road, Warren Township in reference to vehicle(s) being tampered with.  This case remains under investigation.

On 29 May 19 Sgt. Johnson began an investigation into a trespassing complaint in Grandview Township.  In speaking with all parties this case was determined to be unfounded.

On 29 May 19 Sgt. Johnson responded to 271 Walnut Drive, Whipple, OH, to a report of an altercation at that location.   It was reported that Sheena Beardsley had gotten into an argument with Bo Ladeaux, her brother.  The argument was over the ownership of a trampoline at the location.   Ladeaux asked Beardsley to leave, however she did not.  Beardsley began moving the trampoline with Ladeaux assisting her.  Ladeaux states as he lifted the trampoline, Beardsley walked into the trampoline and fell.   Beardsley admitted to striking Ladeaux, stating he was coming at her swinging his fists.   A witness to the incident reported that Beardsley did hit Ladeaux and no one observed Ladeaux do anything to Beardsley.   Sheena Tallulah Beardsley, age 33, 116 Pineview Drive, Marietta, OH, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 29 May 19 Deputy Zide met with Tyler Richey, 115 Forshey Road, Marietta, OH,  who reported a firearm removed from his vehicle he was having work done on in Marietta Township.  This case remains under investigation.

On 29 May 19 Deputy Brown began an investigation in Barlow Township in reference to an assault.  In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.

On 30 May 19 Deputy Schwendeman issued a citation to Andrew G. Henthorn, 1149 Fisher Ridge Road, Fleming, OH, for speed, 60 in a 45 mph zone.

On 30 May 19 Sgt. Johnson was made aware that Larry Shaffer, 27400 SR 7, Marietta, OH, was at this location with Sinda J. Dyer, Cambridge, OH.  A protection order was on file and found to still be active.  Larry Clark Shaffer, age 50, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 30 May 19 Deputy Schwendeman issued a citation to Michael Williams, 213 Elm Street, Marietta, OH, for driving on a suspended license.

On 31 May 19 Deputy Hall along with the Watertown Volunteer Fire department responded to 13991 SR 339, Watertown, OH, to a tractor fire.  The tractor was a total loss.

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail between Monday 3 Jun 19 and Tuesday 4 Jun 19:

Uriah Matthew Hill, age 43, 702 Eighth Street, Marietta, OH, theft and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

Keasandra Meagan Moore, age 31, 205 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, OH, contempt for failure to appear.

Robert Marion McKitrick, age 65. 4597 County Nine Road, Reno, OH, domestic violence, a felony.

Eric Shawn Owens, age 39, 195 McGill Road, Vincent, OH, violating a protection order, a misdemeanor.

Richard Carl Flood, age 53, 204 Ferry Street, Beverly, OH, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

John Jacob Matthews, age 46, 1015 25th Street, Parkersburg, WV, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 35 female inmates and 98 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
