On 15 May 19 Sgt. Holbert was dispatched to Highland Ridge Road, Lowe4ll, to a report of Eric Lankford making threats. A male subject was observed by Sgt. Holbert, sitting by the roadway, who identified himself as Lankford. Lankford admitted to possessing a baseball bat and knife while in a verbal altercation. Lankford argued with a family member causing the victim to step in between them. Eric Allen Lankford, age 54, 593 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with aggravated menacing. Lankford was transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 15 May 19 deputies responded to 7305 State Route 26, Marietta, to a report of a disturbance at this location. Richard Michael reported Brian McKinney took a club to his truck. Michael stated McKinney came to the residence drunk and picked a fight with him almost immediately after arriving. A brief altercation ensued and McKinney then picked a fight with another individual at the location. McKinney then took a large stick and busted the driver’s side window out of Michael’s truck with Michael in the truck trying to drive away. McKinney then fled the area into the woods, reappearing after several minutes. Brian Keith McKinney, age 33, 408 Gallager Street, St. Mary’s, WV, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for probation violation and criminal damaging.
On 15 May 19 Justin Cochran, Martin Road, Reno, Ohio, reported a burglary at his residence to Sgt. Holbert. This case remains under investigation.
On 15 May 19 Deputy Kehl received warrants at the Washington County Jail from Wood County, WV, for the arrest of Chequila M. Haislep, 280 Franklin Blvd., Parkersburg, WV, and Corrie A. Herman, 201 Westwood Way, Washington, WV, for failure to appear. Information on the warrant was checked with information Herman and Haislep gave to the booking officer and found to be a match. Herman and Haislep were charged with being fugitives from justice.
On 15 May 19 Deputy A McConnell began an investigation in reference a possible domestic violence incident in Belpre Township. After speaking with all parties this was determined to be unfounded.

Janet Dawn Shaw, 300 Phillips Street, Marietta, OH, failure to appear on trafficking in drugs charge.
Nickolaus Sprouse, no address given, failure to appear on a possession of drugs charge.
Jennifer M. Stout, 1940 Chatham Street, Gallipolis, OH, failure to appear on a possession of drugs charge.
Kirk Michael Urban, unknown address, failure to appear on a breach of recognizance charge.
