On 8 May 19 Deputy Hill responded to Adams Township to a possible domestic incident. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.
On 8 May 19 Deputy Hill responded to Muskingum Township to a possible violation of a protection order. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.
On 9 May 19 Sgt. Reeder met with Michael Armstrong, New Matamoras, OH, in reference to filing a report of a stolen 2015 Toyota 4Runner SUV. This case remains under investigation.
On 9 May 19 Lt. Hunter and Sgt. Reeder were dispatched to Dana Road, Newport, OH, to a male subject at the location being disruptive. Zackariah Earley was located, in the bed of a pick-up truck, and upon attempting to speak with him, his statements made no sense. Earley had been in an argument at the location with a relative who was trying to leave the residence. Earley had attempted to break into the vehicle’s rear sliding window. Zackariah Harold Earley, age 30, 1426 Earley Ridge Road, New Matamoras, OH, was placed under arrest for domestic violence. A search of Earley’s person revealed a container with a crystalline-like substance. Earley was also charged with possession of drugs and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

Zackariah Harold Earley, age 30, 176 Dana Run Road, Newport, OH, possession of drugs, a felony, and domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Timothy Michael Hoffman, age 32, 24410 Church Street, Coolville, OH, theft, a felony.
Christopher Allen Streight, age 32, 120 Ward Street, Marietta, OH, driving under suspension, probation violation, and use of electronic wireless communication, misdemeanors, and theft, a felony.
There are currently 25 female inmates and 97 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
