On 17 Apr 19 Stephen Wayne Caltrider, age 30, lka: 95 ½ S Shafer Street, Apt. B, Athens, OH, was brought to the Washington County Jai by A1 Bonds.  Prior to entering the secured area, Caltrider was found to be in possession of 4 packages containing 1 strip of Belbuca.  Caltrider admitted to the items being in his pocket, however, stated they were not his.  A charge of possession of a control substance was filed on Caltrider. 

On 18 Apr 19  Sgt. McGilton took a report from a Barth Road resident in reference to a red Husky dog that was loose on their property.  It was reported that the same dog was loose on the 17th and killed a Guinea bird, which was on their property.  Today, 18 Apr 19 this same dog returned to the property and attempted to get the other Guinea bird, however, the property owner was able to capture the dog.  Sgt. McGilton transported the dog to the Humane Society.  The owner of the dog, Robert C. Johnson, age 47, 1426 Barth Road, Belpre, OH, was found to have no current registration for the dog.  A summons will be requested through Marietta Municipal Court for failure to register and failure to restrain.  Restitution is requested in this case as well.

On 18 Apr 19 Deputy P Tornes filed charges for failure to provide a change of address on Kirkland Michael Dennewitz, age 23, LKA Little Hocking, OH.  On 16 Mar 16 Dennewitz was sentenced in Washington County Common Pleas Court to register as a T2 Child Victim Offender after pleading guilty to 1 count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a 4th-degree felony.  Dennewitz is to register his address with the Sherriff or a designee 20 days prior or 3 days after a change of address.  On 16 Apr 19 Deputy Tornes was advised that Dennewitz was no longer living at the Little Hocking address, and had not lived there for approximately 2 weeks.  Dennewitz was contacted by his parole officer and admitted to him that he was living in West Virginia.   A copy of the charge was served on Dennewitz, who is currently incarcerated on a felony parole violation charge.

Brittany Jo Ferrell, age 33, 2205 Washington Blvd, Belpre, OH, possession of drugs, identity fraud, trafficking in drugs, all felonies, obstructing justice, theft, and contempt (failure to appear), all misdemeanors.

Stephanie Nicole Cremeans, age 33, 109 8th Street, Belpre, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Anibal Junior Nieves, Jr., age 26, 3550 West 128th Street, Cleveland, OH, contempt of court, a felony.

Justin John Statler, age 21, 402 ½ Mulberry Street, Marietta, OH, burglary, a felony, and domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Thomas Lee Koon, age 45, 2 counts, aggravated menacing and direct contempt, all misdemeanors.

Brittany Coleen Eady, age 26, 27482 SR 7, Apt. 12, Marietta, OH, driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 28 female inmates and 123 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
