April: National Distracted Driving Awareness Month



April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with The Ohio Traffic Safety Office to ensure you are not driving distracted.

You could pay with a ticket, or you could pay with your life. Put down the phone while driving! Millennials are the biggest offenders when it comes to texting and driving, with more 16- to 24-year-olds handling phones while driving than any other age group. Spread the message: If you’re texting, you’re not driving.
