On 26 Mar 19 Lt. Augenstein met with Sarah Johnston, Newport, OH, in reference to a theft from her property.  This case remains under investigation.

On 26 Mar 19  Deputies McConnell and Zide responded to 10 Browns Road, Apt. 4A, Marietta to a report of Jeremy Phipps kicking in the front door.  Prior to arrival a neighbor phoned stating Phipps entered their apartment without permission.   Phipps and Alixandrea Thomas met with deputies and stated all issues they were having were handled.  Thomas had locked Phipps out of the apartment that they share and Phipps entered by force.   Deputies were advised that the probation officer supervising  Phipps officer requested he be taken to the County Jail.   Phipps was taken into custody at that time and transported to the Washington County Jail.  Deputies spoke with the neighbor who stated that sometime after this incident with Thomas, Phipps had walked down, entered her apartment without permission, and began asking questions, walking all the way through the apartment.  Phipps was asked to leave and he did as instructed.  Charges of criminal trespass are also being filed on Phipps, age 39, 10 Browns Road, Apt. 4A, Marietta, OH, for trespassing, a felony.

On 26 Mar 19 Deputy Young arrived at 255 Front Drive, New Matamoras, OH, In reference to a separate incident.         Chad Stock advised his son, Chad, took tools from the residence and was attempting to return them to the store.  After completing the investigation it was determined that Chad Edward Stock, age 26,  would be placed under arrest for theft.  Stock was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

On 26 Mar 19 Brenda Addlesburger, 177 Brownsville Road, New Matamoras, OH, reported to Deputy A McConnell that she had property stolen.  This case remains under investigation.

On 27 Mar 19 Deputy Young met with Victoria Hendershot in reference to stolen items from Hendershot’s vehicle.  This case remains under investigation.

Gregory Stephen King, age 35, 308 Washington Blvd., Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Jacob Lane Carpenter, age 24, 360 Mechanic Street, Macksburg, OH, obstructing official business, a misdemeanor

Adam Lee Addlespurger, age 47, 19604 Sherbourne Road, Macksburg, OH, obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.

Ricky Joseph Antill, age34, 41900 Joe Schafer Road, Caldwell, OH, possession of drugs, a felony.

Chad Edward Stock, age 26, 255 Front Drive, New Matamoras, OH,  theft, a misdemeanor.

Jennifer Dawn Mayes, age 32, 607 O’Neal Street, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Jeremy Michael Phipps, age 39, 10 Browns Road, Apt. 4A, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor, and trespassing, a felony.

There are currently 19 female inmates and 106 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
