On 21 Mar 19 Sgt. Holbert met with Charles Schmidt, Highland Ridge Road, Marietta, in reference to his property being entered and a Honda motorcycle and motorcycle accessories being stolen. This case remains under investigation.
On 21 Mar 19 Deputy Young responded to New Matamoras, to a report of John William Addlesburger causing problems. Deputies met with witnesses who stated Addlesburger was screaming obscenities at them. A summons is being requested for Addlesburger, age 45, 406 Vine Street, New Matamoras, OH, for disorderly conduct.
On 22 Mar 19 Lt. Augenstein and Deputy Young responded to 26935 SR 7, Marietta, in reference to a report of an unknown male being in the residence threatening people with a knife. Deputies met with witnesses who pointed out the individual in question. While approaching the male, Deputies observed what appeared to be methamphetamine lying in the chair next to him. Witnesses reported the subject had a knife out and was making comments that he would “turn it up”. The male was asked to identify himself and gave Deputies a name and date of birth. Upon checking that subject through dispatch, no information could be located. The male could not provide a social security number. Deputies transported the male to the Washington County Jail for possession of methamphetamine. Deputies further spoke with witnesses who advised the subject was not who he said he was. Deputies continued to investigate in order to identify the subject, eventually learning the subject was Justin Lashawn Davis, age 24, 1659 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, OH. An active warrant was located for Davis on a charge of probation violation. Davis was charged with aggravated menacing, possession of drugs and obstructing official business, and processed into the Washington County Jail.
On 23 Mar 19 Deputy Stillson, while working the Washington County Jail, was advised that inmate Dwayne Scott Singer, 2050 Roberts Road, Amesville, OH, had an active warrant out of Wood County, WV, on a charge of failure to appear. A charge of fugitive from justice was filed on Singer through Marietta Municipal Court.
On 23 Mar 19 Sgt. Reeder along with the Devola Volunteer Fire Department responded to Arends Ridge Road, to a building fire. The building and contents were a total loss.
On 24 Mar 19 Deputy Stillson, while working at the Washington County Jail, was informed that Casey Steven Taylor, a current inmate, had used another inmate’s phone card pin without his consent. An investigation was conducted and it was determined that Taylor had in fact used the pin of another inmate. Taylor, age 27, 4060 Sugar Run Road, Marietta, OH, is being charged with theft.
On 24 Mar 19 Deputy Brown along with the Warren and Barlow Volunteer Fire Departments responded to 1371 Turkeyhen Road, to a fire reported at that location.
On 25 Mar 19 Deputy Brown along with the Little Hocking and Wesley Volunteer Fire Departments responded to 1524 Turkey Hollow Road to a house fire.

Dustin Wayne Slater, age 29, 711 Maple Grove Road, Waterford, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
Jarrett Larry Travis Mull, age 20, 358 Newells Run Road, Newport, OH, complicity to kidnapping, a felony.
Kyle Anthony Davis, age 23, homeless, extortion, kidnapping and felonious assault, all felonies.
Roxanne Aurora Hardman, age 19, 508 Ridge Street, Belpre, OH, obstructing official business and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
