On 16 Mar 19 Deputy White completed a private property accident report where Benjamin Huntsman, Newport, OH, reported his vehicle struck in the parking lot at the Whipple Tavern. Witnesses observed the crash and the other subject fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
On 18 Mar 19 Deputy Carr responded to Cornerville Road, Marietta, in reference to property belonging to AEP being stolen. This case remains under investigation.
On 18 Mar 19 Deputy Carr responded to Barlow Township to investigate identity fraud. This case remains under investigation.
On 18 Mar 19 Deputy Carr began an investigation in Marietta Township in reference to disorderly subjects. This case remains under investigation.
On 19 Mar 19 Sgt. McGilton requested a summons be issued to Flite H. Freimann, Muskingum Drive, Marietta, OH, on 2 counts of failing to restrain and one count failure to register a dog. On 12 Mar 19 a white German Shepherd dog and a black German Shepherd Dog belonging to Freimann became loose from his property. Freimann’s dogs charged onto a neighbor’s property where that neighbor was outside with their dog, which was restrained. One of Freimann’s dogs charged towards the neighbor and his other dog charged towards that neighbor’s dog. Attempts to contact Freimann met with negative results.
On 20 Mar 19 Deputy Brown was patrolling the area of Veto Road and observed a vehicle in the ditch. The driver, Jason Roush, stated he was driving and went off the road and became stuck in the ditch. Roush was asked to perform standard field sobriety testing, at which time he reported he had smoked marijuana and provided Deputy Brown with a container. A summons is being requested for Jason S. Roush, age 58, 2363 Oak Hill Road, Cutler, OH, on a charge of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Adam Joseph Hadley, age 30, 101 Sunset Drive, Marietta, OH, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.
Brianna Lee Messick, age 22, 106 Stonecrest Drive, Marietta, OH, breach of recognizance and obstructing official business, both misdemeanors.
