On 15 Mar 19 Deputy Zide was dispatched to 912 Park Avenue, New Matamoras, to a report of a possible burglary.  Noah Glover, age 18, 400 Main Street, New Matamoras, reported seeing someone stealing items out of the residence.  Over the course of several hours, additional deputies responded to assist and obtained consent to search for the individual’s residence, and observed the items located in plain view.  The homeowner and other witnesses stated that Glover brought the items to her home and/or allowed her to take them.  Detectives again spoke with Glover who confessed he took some of the items to that house and/or allowed her to take them.  Glover was arrested for obstructing official business and falsification.  Glover was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

On 17 Mar 19 Sgt. Holbert and Lt. Augenstein responded to 2375 Christy Road, Marietta, to a domestic dispute.  Amber Gowan and Shawn Sorrie had been involved in a verbal argument and  Gowan left the residence.  Through investigation it was determined that Shawn Michael Sorrie, age 47, would be placed under arrest for domestic violence.  Sorrie was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

Karen Nicole Mealey, age 48, homeless, criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor.

Shawn Michael Sorrie, age 47, 2375 Christy Road, Marietta, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
