On 7 Mar 19 Deputy J McConnell began an investigation in Barlow Township in reference to an assault and possible unruly juvenile(s).  This case remains under investigation.

On 8 Mar 19 Sgt. Holbert observed damage to a vehicle parked at the Belpre Park and Ride.  Sgt. Holbert spoke with the owner, Tricia Labarre, Marietta, OH, in reference to the damage done to her vehicle.  This case remains under investigation.

On 8 Mar 19 Deputy Carr met with a Marietta Township resident in reference to fraudulent charges on a credit card.  The victim did not wish to pursue charges at this time.

On 8 Mar 19 Sgt. Reeder responded to State Route 60 in Waterford Township to an oil well access road.  Trash had been dumped at this location.  This case remains under investigation at this time.

On 8 Mar 19 Sgt. Reeder began an investigation in reference to fraudulent charges on a credit card.  This case remains under investigation.

On 8 Mar 19 Deputies Hill and Carr responded to the area of Barlow Vincent in reference to a theft from Dollar General.  It was noted that Sgt. Call had the suspect stopped in her vehicle on Warrior Drive.  The driver, Sherry Fulton,  admitted to taking merchandise from the store and provided a written confession.  The stolen items were returned to the Dollar General.  A summons is being requested for Sherry G. Fulton, age 46, 10735 SR 550, Vincent, OH, on a charge of theft.

 On 13 Mar 19 Deputy Carr along with the Wesley and Dunham Volunteer Fire Departments responded to 32027 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, OH, to a house fire.

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail Tuesday 12 Mar 19 through Wednesday 13 Feb 19:

 Jeremy Michael Charlton, age 38, Earls Place Road, Vincent, OH, criminal trespassing, assault, criminal damaging and breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors.

Marcus Allan Brown, age 23, 304 Elm Street, Belpre, OH, burglary, a felony, theft and contempt of court, both misdemeanors.

Dustin Ray Riley, age 33, 419 Maple Street, Marietta, OH, parole violation, a felony.

Aaron Matthew Brown, age 37, 101 Randolph Road, Marietta, OH, probation violation and driving under suspension, both misdemeanors.

There are currently 13 female inmates and 103 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
