On 20 Feb 19 Deputy McKee spoke with Sally Morse, Culver Run Road, Waterford, OH, in reference to damage to her Chevy vehicle, and an item removed from the vehicle.  This case remains under investigation.

On 20 Feb 19 Lt. Augenstein began an investigation in reference to stolen tools.  This case remains under investigation at this time.

On 21 Feb 19 Deputy A McConnell responded to 20370 State Route 60, Beverly, OH.   It was reported that Jared Smith received a Facebook message from Noah Hull around 1642 hours that said, “Hey can you meet me at parkway in new mat tm”. The next message sent from Hull was threatening and vulgar in nature.  The Wood County Sheriff’s Department was able to locate Hull at his place of employment.  In speaking with Hull, he admitted to sending Jared Smith the messages.  A summons is being requested for Noah Riley Hull, age  21, 1308 Williamson Avenue, 1D, New Matamoras, OH, for telecommunications harassment.

On 21 Feb 19 Deputy McKee began an investigation into an assault that occurred in Muskingum Township, Marietta, OH.  This case remains under investigation.

On 21 Feb 19 Allen Patterson, 391 Echo Valley Road, Waterford, OH, reported the theft of his 2003 Buick 4 door vehicle.  Deputy McKee began the investigation and learned the vehicle had been located wrecked.  This case remains under investigation.

On 22 Feb 19 Deputy Hall responded to 1905 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, OH, to meet with James Briggs in reference to his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, pick-up truck, maroon in color, stolen from the residence. This case remains under investigation.

On 22 Feb 19 Deputy Zide responded to Rubrake Road to begin an investigation into missing items.  The victim did not wish anyone prosecuted in this case.  This case will be marked closed.

On 22 Feb 19 at approximately 1121 hrs. Deputy Hall and Lt. Hunter were dispatched to 195 McGill Road, Vincent, OH, to an incident of domestic violence.  Miranda Owens called stating Eric Owens had been on her doorstep banging and kicking the door since around 0400 hrs. this day. Miranda ignored the knocking until right before she had called for help, thinking Eric would go away. Miranda reported to dispatch that the reason she called in was that Eric had threatened to have a “hit”  put out on her and her son.  Miranda then told Eric she had called law enforcement, which prompted Eric to leave.  Miranda told Deputies that Eric had left on a black colored sport motorcycle in the direction of State Route 339.  The area was checked for Eric, however, he was not located.
On 24 Feb 19 Sgt. Reeder responded to 195 McGill Road, Vincent, OH, to a report of domestic violence.  Miranda Owens stated Eric Owens showed up at the residence asking for money. Miranda agreed to take Eric to an ATM and tried to call 911 a few times, knowing Eric had pending charges, however, Eric kept hitting her arm as she drove to knock the phone out of her hands.  Miranda stated she withdrew money and gave it to Eric and they returned to the residence.  Due to the above circumstances and for reasons that the whereabouts of Eric Owens are currently unknown, two warrants are being requested for the arrest of Eric Shawn Owens, age 39, for domestic violence.  A temporary protection order was requested by the victim.

On 22 Feb 19 Deputy Brown was on patrol in the area of State Route 550 near the 10-mile marker when he observed a black Suzuki SUV with no visible tail lights or license plate light.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Justin Moore.  Moore turned his headlight switch to the “on” position which resulted in the tail lights and plate light illuminating. Moore did not realize he was driving with only the use of his day time running lights.   Deputy Brown detected an odor of marijuana while speaking with Moore.  Moore admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the day and gave consent to search the vehicle.  Deputy Brown located a green plastic container with marijuana and a glass smoking pipe.  Moore admitted the items belonged to him.  A summons will be requested for Justin M. Moore, age 36, 1515 Center Bend Road, Beverly, OH, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 23 Feb 19 Sgt. Reeder issued a traffic citation to Kylie Rechell Robinson, 5125 Buchannan Road, Waterford, OH, for speed, 81 mph in a 55 mph zone.

On 23 Feb 19 Captain Rhodes issued citations to Eric Ray Anger, 106 Fern Hill Lane, Elkins, WV, for speed, 76 mph in a 60 mph zone, and Daryl M. Keplinger, 460 Grassy Ridge Road, Mount Storm, WV,  for safety belt violation.

On 23 Feb 19 Deputy Hill responded to Muskingum Township to a possible domestic violence incident.  In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.

Eric Shawn Valentine, age 48, 1005 Cornerville Road, Marietta, OH, on a warrant for contempt of court, a misdemeanor.

Ashley Marie Wynn, age 28, homeless, theft, a misdemeanor.

Emily Ann Wagner, age 31, 721 Fourth Street, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Stephanie Nicole Cassady, age 37, 824 Belrock Avenue, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Terry Willard Perdew, age 56, 130 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, OH, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, no seatbelt and marked lanes, all misdemeanors.

Jaden Donavon Wise, age 20, 168 Rising Suns Ridge Road, Walker, WV, tampering with evidence, a felony, possession of marijuana, possession of drugs, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors.

Margaret Ruth Wilson, age 38, 1135 Browns Road, Marietta, OH, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Bailey Richard Lee, age 22, 10334 Veto Road, Belpre, OH, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Chase Payton Cowan, age 21, 10414 Veto Road, Belpre, OH, OVI, left of center and driving under suspension, all misdemeanors.

There are currently 14 female inmates and 103 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
