In October 2018 an investigation by Agents of the Ohio Organized Crimes Investigations Commission, Washington Morgan Noble Major Crimes Task Force resulted in a search warrant, an arrest, and conviction of Marlon Jamila Garrison in Washington County Common Pleas Court.
On 16 Jan 19 Garrison pled guilty to a 1st-degree felony Possession of Heroin. Garrison was sentenced to a mandatory (9) nine years in prison in Judge Triplett’s court.
On 16 Oct 18 Agents executed a search warrant at 139 Frederick Street, Marietta, OH, where Garrison was located. Agents located 55.15 grams of heroin, along with cash and drug paraphernalia in the residence directly beside Garrison.
Garrison had prior criminal convictions for assault, aggravated robbery, resisting arrest, possession of drugs, tampering with government records and trafficking in drugs.
Marlon Garrison, age 44, Dayton, Ohio, remains incarcerated in the Washington County Jail pending his transport to CRC, Orient, Ohio.
The Washington Morgan Noble Major Crimes Task Force is part of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s Organized Crime Investigation Commission and is comprised of representatives of Post 84 of the Ohio State Highway Patrol; Washington, Morgan and Noble County Sheriff’s Offices; the Marietta, Belpre and McConnelsville Police Departments; and the Washington, Morgan and Noble County Prosecutor’s Office.
