On 17 Dec 18 Deputies responded to 15 Poinciana Street, Newport, Ohio, in reference to a domestic violence complaint.   The Butlers became involved in a verbal argument at which time Samuel approached  Sarah and grabbed her by the neck and threw her to the ground. Samuel continued to assault Sarah, including putting her in a “choke hold” before leaving the residence.  Later Deputies met with Samuel when he returned to the residence.   Samuel  S. Butler, age 27, 15 Poinciana Street, Newport, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.   (171)

Freddy Dale Taylor Jr., 729 Ninth Street, Marietta, OH, failure to appear.

Jordan Levi Walker, SR 7 Southgate Trailer Park #78, Reno, OH, failure to appear.

Tyler J. Fox, 8965 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, OH, domestic violence.

Jessica Lynn Stevens, 425 County House Lane, Marietta, OH, failure to appear.

Kenneth Albert Ammell, 724 Cumberland Street, Caldwell, OH, failure to appear.

James Matthew Bunner, 16640 Thompson Ridge Road, Athens, OH, failure to appear on a possession of drugs charge.

The following subjects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Monday 17 Dec 18 and Tuesday 18 Dec 18:

Tina Marie Curry, age 52, 220 Spring Street, Marietta, OH, probation violation, 2 counts, both misdemeanors.

Robert Jonathan Huffman, age 37, 797 Channel Lane, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony.

Kevin Bobby Taye Wells, age 36, 1280 Nome Avenue, Akron, OH, speed, no operator’s license, both misdemeanors, possession of drugs, 2 counts, and trafficking in drugs, all felonies.

Anthony Darrell Hudson, age 18, 111 Newark Street, Wheeling, WV, receiving stolen property.

Jennifer Jo Murphy, age 43, 1411 McColloch Street, Apt. 2B, Wheeling, WV, driving under suspension and expired plates, both misdemeanors.

There are currently 15 female inmates and 106 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
