On 20 Oct 18 Lt. Gherke was dispatched to Hocking Tire, Tower Road, Little Hocking, in reference to a breaking and entering. This case remains under investigation.
On 21 Oct 18 Deputy Zide conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Raquel Lada, 706 Washington Square, Marietta, Ohio. K9 Rita gave a positive indication when conducting a sniff of the vehicle. A search revealed 2 cases with marijuana and pipes. A summons is being requested through Marietta Municipal Court for Raquel B. Lada, age 23, for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs.
On 22 Oct 18 Deputy Parks was dispatched to 140 Maple Street, Newport, Ohio. Tina Douglas had reported being assaulted by Sharon D. West. A summons is being requested for Sharon D. West, age 45, 38110 State Route 7, Newport, Ohio, on charges of assault, theft, aggravated menacing and aggravated trespassing.
On 22 Oct 18 Sgt. Parks was dispatched to 310 Third Street, Lowell, Ohio to meet with Misty Miller who resides at this location. A summons is being requested for Schau, age 65, 308 Third Street, Apt. A, Lowell, OH, for criminal trespassing.
On 23 Oct 18 Sgt. Reeder responded to Newport Township in reference to a possible domestic incident. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.
On 23 Oct 18 Paul Moser, Newport, Ohio, reported to Lt. Augenstein an item missing from his vehicle console. This case remains under investigation.
On 23 Oct 18 a report was received at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office from William R. Hutchison Jr. that someone had just stolen his 2017 Chevy Truck, from 50615 State Route 7, Grandview Township. Sgt. Parks met with Hutchison who stated his truck was parked in the yard of his residence and he observed a male subject enter his yard, heading towards his truck. Hutchison exited the residence and the male got into his truck and started it up, with Hutchison then running towards the truck, however, the subject sped away. The Ohio State Highway Patrol located the truck crashed on Archers Ford Road. Deputies responded to that area and located Arron Lasure hiding near the crash site, and complained of injury from the crash. Lasure advised that he drove and crashed the truck. A warrant is being requested for Arron E. Lasure, age 38, 517 Front Street, New Matamoras, OH, for theft of an automobile.
On 23 Oct 18 Lt. Augenstein responded to 693 Greene Street, Newport, Ohio, in reference to Nancy Amos being in Sam Greenwood’s yard and yelling at him. Lt. Augenstein met with witnesses who stated that earlier Amos was outside yelling, and at one point was on a four wheeler sitting in the roadway in front of the Greenwood home. Amos was yelling rude and profane comments to Greenwood and his family. Lt. Augenstein met with Amos outside about the incident. Amos admitted she drove up there and confronted Sam really for no reason other than she felt he was breaking in and stealing things. Nancy Michelle Amos, age 64, 697 Greene Street, Newport, OH, was advised that a summons was going to be requested for her on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Christopher NMN Turpin, age 26, 2035 Cedar Run Road, Friendly, WV, corrupting another with drugs F4; 190 days County Jail and Star Program.
Tessa Ann Blair, age 26, 1656 Louisa Avenue, Apt. 2, Albany, OH, possessing criminal tools, F5; 100 days County Jail.
Rachael Kay Sweet, age 25, 219 Grand Avenue, Akron, OH, attempted theft of a motor vehicle F5; 90 days County Jail and restitution.
Jason Ray Wriston, age 42, 11555 State Route 821, Lower Salem, OH, probation violation from a B & E charge; 60 days county jail.
Kyle Matthew Williams, age 20, 707 44th Street, Vienna, WV, felonious assault, F2; 4 years Orient.
Lynsey Brooke Erb, age 31, 140 Cecil Meneffee Drive, Moorefield, WV, theft, F4; 17 months Marysville concurrent with Monroe County charge.

Joseph S. Antill, 5159 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, OH, probation violation on a theft charge.
Linda Binegar, 795 Martin Road, Reno, OH, domestic violence.
Buffie M. Gerst, 280 Stacy Orchard Road, Whipple, OH, contempt of court on a driving under financial responsibility suspension.
Amanda R. Wilson, 1804 Spring Street, Parkersburg, WV, forgery.

Dylan Hunter Huffman, age 20, 10 Oakview Circle, Vincent, OH, driving under suspension and expired tags, both misdemeanors.
Joseph Ryan Hammond, age 38, 1137 Cisler Drive, Marietta, OH, probation violation and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors.
Jamie Michael Miranda, age 44, 114 S. Main Street, Nicholasville, KY, contempt of court, a felony.
