On 16 Oct 18 Lori Saunders, 44 Anderson Lane, Waterford, Ohio, met with Sgt. Johnson in reference to 2 bicycles stolen from her property.  The bikes are described as Mongoose Mountain bikes, one blue in color, and one gray in color.  This case remains under investigation.

On 16 Oct 18 Deputy Carr and Deputy Brown began an investigation into a fraudulent account being opened in a subject’s name without their knowledge.  This case remains under investigation.

On 17 Oct 18 Sgt. Parks was dispatched to Adams Township in reference to a juvenile refusing to go to school.  A summons is being requested for the juvenile for being unruly.

On 17 Oct 18 Deputy J McConnell and Deputy Young responded to Barlow Township in reference to mailboxes being damaged in the area of Tresch Road.  This case remains under investigation.

On 17 Oct 18 Deputy A McConnell responded to Salem Township in reference to a domestic violence incident.  In speaking with all parties this was determined to be unfounded.  Case closed.

The following warrants were recently processed at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office:

Nicholas R. Easton, 2605 Core Road, Parkersburg, WV, failure to appear on a theft charge; failure to appear on a trafficking in drugs charge.

Melissa A. Fletcher, 907 Neil Avenue, Parkersburg, WV, failure to appear on a burglary charge.

Waylon F. McCune, 515 Main Street, Belpre, OH, failure to appear on a domestic violence charge.

 William L. Schofield, 1717 15th Street, Parkersburg, WV, failure to appear on a driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs charge.

Vincent E. Roberts, 1920 Roberts Road, Amesville, OH, attempted murder.

Paul A. Biles, 24561 Brimstone Road, Coolville, OH, probation violation on a charge of driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Aaron W. Cain, 16687 Crooked Tree Road, Dexter City, OH, failure to appear on a possession of drug abuse instruments charge.

Bryan Gambrel, 3352 Mathey Road, Nelsonville, OH, failure to appear on an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charge.

Dakota A. McCormick, 459 Main Street, Philo, OH, driving under suspension or cancellation.

Brian K. Streight, 221 S. Sixth Street, Marietta, OH, failure to appear on an obstructing official business charge.

The following subjects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Wednesday, 17 Oct 18 and Thursday, 18 Oct 18:

William Gregory Barry II, age 30, 1173 Howard Furnace Road, Wheelersburg, OH, non-support of dependents.

Shaun Allen Griffin, age 34, 116 Harmar Street, Marietta, OH, parole violation, a felony.

Lisa Mae Bartlett, age 30, 2650 Moss Run Road, Marietta, OH, contempt of court, 2 counts, both felonies, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs and illegal manufacture of drugs, both misdemeanors.

There are currently 23 female inmates and 107 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
