On 7 Oct 18 Sgt. Parks was dispatched to 17997 State Route 26, Reno, OH, along with the Little Muskingum Fire Department in reference to a vehicle at that location being on fire.   The vehicle, a 2002 Jeep Liberty, appeared to be a total loss.

On 7 Oct 18 Deputy Carr and Deputy Brown responded to 1024 McNeal Road, Waterford, along with the Beverly-Waterford, Watertown, and L-A Fire Departments.  The barn at that location was fully engulfed and a total loss.

On 8 Oct 18 Deputy Young along with Deputy J McConnell responded to Warren Township to a report of a lost or possible stolen license late  This case remains under investigation.

On 8 Oct 18 Deputy J McConnell and Deputy Young responded to Salem Township in reference to two male subjects involved in an altercation.   Both subjects refused to have charges filed.  Case closed.

On 12 Oct 18 Lt. Augenstein and Deputy A McConnell responded to 1154 Patten Mills Road, Bartlett, Ohio.  Patty Smith reported her son, Anthony Hill, was drunk and threatening her with a knife. Hill left the scene prior to Deputies arriving.  Smith stated Hill was drinking and became upset with his girlfriend.  Hill then began threatening his mother and father with a steak knife, waving it around at them.  Hill also shoved his mother and jumped out of a vehicle towards his father with the knife.  Hill then got back in the vehicle and left. Deputies searched the area and were unable to locate Hill.  Hill later agreed to meet with Deputies, however, failed to appear at the designated location.  On 13 Oct 18 Deputies were able to locate Anthony Trent Hill, age 29, 1154 Patten Mills Road, Bartlett, and placed him under arrest for domestic violence, two counts.  Hill was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

On 13 Oct 18 Deputy Huffer completed a private property accident report where an individual had struck a pole at the Lowell Dollar General.  Disabling heavy damage was done to the Toyota Sequoia.

On 13 Oct 18, the Washington County Jail received a warrant for the arrest of Mitchell Lee Erb from the Pleasants County Magistrate Court, WV.  Deputy Gainer compared the information in the warrant with the information given at the time of booking and found that Erb, age 32, 811 Pioneer Comm. Road, St. Mary’s, WV, a current inmate was the same individual wanted on the warrant.  Deputy Gainer filed fugitive from justice charges on Erb.

Roger William Burkhart, age 33, Super 8 Hotel, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony.

Michael Shawn Williams, age 42, 240 Hillcrest Drive, Apt. 71, Marietta, OH, possession of drugs, a felony.

Joshua Eric Burkhart, age 30, homeless, parole violation, a felony.

Sarah Marie Lightner, age 36, 693 Wynncrest Drive, Fleming, OH, theft (2 counts), assault, endangering children, domestic violence, and breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors.

Cassandra Rebecca Gail Buser, age 27, 913 Harmar Street, Marietta, OH, criminal trespass, misdemeanor.

George Nicholas Parsons, age 44, 373 Rocky Road, Grantsville, WV, driving under the influence, no operator’s license, no seatbelt, all misdemeanors, failure to comply with an officer and fugitive from justice, both felonies.

Anthony Trent Hill, age 29, 21154 Patten Mills Road, Bartlett, OH, 2 counts domestic violence, and probation violation, all misdemeanors.

Uriah NMN Gregg, age 20, 9560 Crews Lane, Chesterhill, OH, theft and contempt of court, both misdemeanors.

Jessica Marie Biehl, age 23, 129 Arrow Drive, Marietta, OH, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to control, hit skip, and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors.

There are currently 23 female inmates and 99 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
