Special News 1 Oct 18

On 28 Sep 18 Deputy A McConnell responded to 11722 State Route 555, Cutler, Ohio to a report of a burglary.  Greg Mayle reported he was watching a home for Susan Harvey and Alexa Harvey,  the homeowners, while they were incarcerated.  Christopher N. Mayle is also a resident at this location.

Mayle reports multiple items were stolen from the residence and property. These items stolen include a riding mower, shop vac, heaters, jewelry, clothing, a dog, along with several other items.

Through the investigation and evidence gathered at the scene two male subjects were determined to be responsible for the burglary.  Jeremy Cremeans, living at 181 Cave Hill Road, Cutler, Ohio, and Michael Atkinson, living at 24717 Brimstone Road, Coolville, Ohio.

Deputies went to the residence of Cremeans and located similar shoe impressions from those at the scene.  Attempts to contact Cremeans were unsuccessful.

Atkinson provided his shoes and they were a match for impressions found at the scene.  Other evidence was obtained from that location as well, however Atkinson denied consent for Detectives to search his property.

Deputies obtained search warrants for the Cave Hill Road and Brimstone Road properties and numerous stolen items were located at the Brimstone Road location.
